Why does Lioneye's Glare have no drawback?

Out of those mods, it's the only one that makes sense to me.

Always hit- much loved about this bow. Can be a build enabler for classes that by default have a hard time getting dex to increase their acc otherwise. Namely Templars and Witches. So, seems like a good thing the bow can have.

Dmg- phys dmg is pretty damn high. God knows we need some good phys bows in this game. Well, and better skills to use phys with :)

Speed- Not unique worthy speed-> see quill rain. Only really adds more dmg to a bow that doesn't really need it. Could be easily nixed.

So, best way to retain always hit mod, and make the bow a unique item by GGG's definition? Increase phys dmg, DRASTICALLY reduce AS, keep Always hit.

You now have a bow that wont be used for every skill, will be slow but powerful. Much more balanced, and much more unique.
Really that would make it worthless.

If they were to do that they would need to also make Shavronne's make it so you cannot leach or regenerate ES (ZO/GR) and make kaoms only give 500 life so they are equally garbage.

That has nothing to do with uniqueness about shavronne's. Although I DO hate ZO and GR a lot. Shavronne's wrappings should have been on a lower base item. That's about it.

Kaoms is irrelevant to talk about at this point. They realize they screwed up with this item, and its been taken out of the new leagues. Expect a rework, and as such, expect changes to all items.
I agree with Slayer. It was supposed to be very powerful physical bow, not a BiS for every ranger build ever.

I'm sorry, did you design Lioneye's Glare? Were you part of the pre-release balancing process?

Didn't think so.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time you've said this, all I want to do is somehow gather $1k, sneak an OP unique pass the devs and when you say this just reply with a simple "yes, yes I did."

WTS demigod ammy for $1k so I can mock Charan!

Has a player made unique ever been OP? Actual question, since I can't think of one off the top of my head.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're much more strict with player uniques than ones they create themselves for this very reason.
Lioneyes was made by GGG, not a diamond supporter
We know this. The question was, has a diamond unique ever been released that was latter believed to be too OP? As far as I know, no. Like I said, I would believe they are stricter for the exact reason LG and Kaoms. They wouldn't *want* to nerf a diamond unique, or couldn't I dunno. So, they take their time with them.
I'm not sure if it's true but Hilbert claims that Marohi was one.

We'll see when Kongor's gets added, if he isn't bs'ing about it (which he probably is).
