Way to be useless. Take your irrelevant posts somewhere else, like OT.

That said, I don't think a smaller stash space would be a good idea, between needing it to trade items between chars and what not.

But Pandemoniac DOES make a really good point about bow users getting the shaft in regards to item space.

The problem is that having to think too much about what you pick up slows the pace down to a crawl. With the orb and colored socket system, there really aren't a lot of items you can ignore. I'm also slightly bitter that my bow ranger can only take a few of her chosen weapons back to town, while a wand or dagger character can stuff 3 times as many in their pack. It seems arbitrary and unfair.

I much prefer a large inventory and small stash. That way you do all your considering and hard decisions in town during your down time. The pace of D3 is more fun for me - I don't have to stop and look at loot after every fight. I just snag the stuff that looks like it has potential and move on.

The combination of free for all loot and cramped inventory space really drags down an otherwise excellent game. Even when I'm only playing with my husband, having personalized loot means I just snag whatever and we sort it out later. We don't have to stop fighting to swap stuff.

You made some good points.

I like the grid system, and the custom art for each item that is to relative scales. However I wish there was a bit wee more space, or perhaps a second tab akin to Titan Quest.

An additional tab may well be a planned Store purchase, and if it's not set in stone yet, GGG wouldn't want to talk about it.

That said though it may be considered a gameplay affecting feature, it's really not essential. I wouldn't mind paying for an extra inventory tab, as a permanent upgrade.

As it is now I can't be bothered to tp to town so I only pickup rares. I do with what I have I don't try to hoard orbs of alteration and whatnot. When the vendor interface is much improved things may be different ;)
I like a Role-playing game that gives me small inventory, because it gives me that extra feel of realism, and how can you go wrong with that.

As a person who almost exclusively uses bows/xbows in games I too am peeved that my choice of weapon impacts how much I am allowed to carry...and when you add quivers into the equation it becomes much worse.
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-
Here is something that explains how I feel regarding Path of Exile that affects my experience.

IT FEELS LIKE HOLDING MY BREATH UNDER WATER CONSTANTLY.

I dont like that. I think this is bad design.
"It feels like holding my breath under water constantly." Me about the limited "life expectancy" of the inventory space on Path of Exile and frequent needs to go to town to unload.

I think the only problem with the limited inventory is that vendor currency takes of many slots in your inventory... that is really it.
You can keep most/all currency items in stash. I have no problem with inventory size, there isn't overwhelming amount of usefull loot anyway.

Exactly. The reason I want to be able to put more items in my inventory is because I don't want to have to stop after every fight and evaluate loot to see if it's useful. With all of the ways you can modify an item in this game, it takes me some time to assess an item's potential. The more I can carry the further I can progress before I have to stop and think about it.

I don't expect to be able to clear an entire level and be able to pick up everything that looks interesting, but it's just a drag to kill a pack, stop, look at the loot, decide if it's better than what you already picked up or have in your stash, rearrange, and toss out stuff to make more room.

There has to be some restriction on inventory size, but this combination of item sizes and inventory size is too restrictive.
This may be an issue in first few hours, when you wear white equipment. In later stages you don't pick up almost anything, because you rarely find anything better than you already have and these items can fit in the inventory quite easily.
