Whats wrong with this picture guys? Inventory Space in PoE issue.

I'd prefer it if every item only took up 1 slot.

Yes I am a hoarder and even infinite storage space wouldn't be enough for me. ;-)
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-
@Interesting: Actually i am really surprised that you have come here complaining about inventory space crapness, while even guest members already could easily figure it out why the hell this was intended as of now.

I mean it you are an alpha member but can't figure it out why bows take 8 slots ? Ugh.. i just don't want to continue sorry...

Inventory is just fine. It adds to the gameplay, when you have to think and plan in all aspects of the game.

Pick up amulets, belts, wands and everything less than 4 squares in size. You rarely have to go to town, and you will get a lot of stuff when you do.

People are so greedy that they never appreciate what they have in their hands, but want more and more, and had enough of these threads.

Just get this fact in your skulls ! In Diablo 2 there were charms that you have to carry, plus you had 40 slots, whereas this number is 60 slots in PoE. Get it now ?!

Deal with it now !

Its a fantasy world nothing is realistic,We all have an opinion and express it in diffrent ways.
we do appreciate what there doing. Peolpe just have diffrent views. Posting a thread on the subject is a way to get your point a view across.
I'd allso like to see the inventory to be smaller squares with more space.

In D3, inventory space is never an issue.

Inventory space should be an issue, D3 is wrong. This is again one more aspect of arpg games they decided to remove completely.

Yes, it's quite strange. I remember Interesting as a thoughtful and knowledgeable PoE player. Yet, currently he is acting like a noob on the forums, like he's a different person, maybe he's trolling, or maybe it's a way to gather community opinions about various topics (I doubt). Or my memory fails me ^^

I disagree with Interesting. I disagree and I actually enjoy D3, so this isn't blind PoE fanboyism at work.

That said, no need to attack him for his views. this is a feedback forum, and he is providing his feedback.

I agree that inventory space should be an issue...

I said this when I first started...But the problem is that it should be a [6x10] not a [5x12].

These are the same size inventories, but the problem with this game is that they is a larger amount of drops that are [1x4] [2x3] [2x4] than there are [1x1] [1x2] [1x3]

I am so sick and tired of my haul back to the Vendor being basically: Flasks, rings, necklaces, bootknives, wands, gems.

Since it takes 5white items to get (1)Scroll of Wisdom, and it takes (3)Scroll of Wisdom to get (1)Town Portal, you have to have 15 items of JUNK to replace the (1)Town Portal.

Cause the system as it stands Junk is worth 1fragment. It doesnt matter if that junk is [2x4] or [1x1] its worth 1fragment.

I do not agree that we should base the Inventory off DIABLO I / DIABLO II / DIABLO III / WOW

I played another game that was FREE TO PLAY that went under a few months back that was similar to this game. Inventory was also an issue due to a lopsided amounts of drops being so large.

There are some things that need tweaking, some things that need overhauling....

If there was a money sink, then Inventory would actually be a problem.

The problem with that picture is you don't know how to use your inventory.
People got the habit to sell trash loot from other games where there was gold. In PoE there is absolutely no reason to pick up something useless, except maybe when you're planning to go back to town and you pick up a bunch of crap to sell. I never fill up my inventory in this game, because I don't pick up items I find useless. As there is no currency, there is no point in selling them. Scrolls of Wisdom and other "currency" items drop often enough.

Then again in TL2, there is no inventory tetris at all, all items are 1 square. But it makes sense there, because first you don't have to go back to town to sell, and 2nd - enchanting items costs A LOT of gold, so you need to amass it.

I like PoE's inventory system. Considering how there are 3 items that have place in your inventory (Wisdom and portal scrolls... that's 2 items), I find it hard to see why it is such an issue. You don't need to sell items in this game. You also don't need to go back to town to fill up flasks, the system is to fill them up by beating the crap out of things on purpose. If one flask fill up costs you 15 white items, you should think again if it is worth it, or you can just beat up a few things and get your flasks full.

I will admit that during the Merveil fight I go back to town to fill up flasks, but that's only there, because there are no enemies to beat up. :D
Games were better when devs didn't listen to player feedback.
