Season One, Race Event 2: One Hour Solo

I seem to have luck with gems in races

But gear wise, not so lucky
Welp good race I did really great first 10 mins. But after that my luck ran OUT. No potions. Not saphire rings. No coral rings, no belts, no gloves... Horrible. SO I had to town to buy all that stuff. Had to run another char through for saphire rings. Did not go well for me this race. Ended up finishing 7th templar. but I did hit level 16 almost amde it to 17.

I got ruined by upper submerged passage.. worst map ever, and merveil's attendants decided to block all of the doorways.

On a brighter note, I did get a quality 10 freezing pulse.. that should sell for a fair bit!
first race ever got some good RNG

I got some severe desync issues this race as well, but managed to survive to level 12 despite the client getting waaay out of sync several times.

GGG, Desync has to be priority #1. Adding more skills is awesome, esspecially for melee is great, if the netcode/sync issues cannot be improved, it is nearly all for naught..

Start with Rhoa and other very fast enemies, like the snakes. It's painfully apparent that a lot of sync issues are "magnified" by certain things, movespeed being one. The crazy fast Rhoa charge from across the screen works ONLY if the client and server are more closely synced. Slow them down a bit AT LEAST until you can improve the netcode maybe?

And I wonder if Quicksilver flasks are a tad too quick as well?

Whatever you do, please please please please please look into SHORT TERM and LONG TERM ways to reduce the issues with rubberbanding/desync.
Oh Kripp why, why'd you have to get that extra 20k xp? :(
Well, I can't believe I did as well as I did, given everything that happened.

Just about every area was hell to find the exit - the very last unrevealed part of at least FOUR areas had it. Wasted so much time.

Item drops were mostly crap. Not Diablo III bad, but very few items were useful. Did get a rare chestplate, but it didn't help my build much.

Ended up halfway through the lower prison when time ran out. Was level 9, just a few bars away from 10 - though of course, getting to 11 is what counts. :(

On the bright side, I lived through the whole hour! A few close calls in the usual places, but still lived. Was drinking from flasks like crazy at times.

Not a bad attempt for my first-ever race, I guess. Sucks that I'm walking away empty-handed though. Congrats to those who fared better! (Which is probably most of you.)

I had the worst possible Cavern of Wrath map and lost like 5 min because of it. I guess #24 with 5th Ranger isn't too bad though.

Belt/Chest were pretty nice - only got to 15.5 due to a long Merveil kill.
Well, I did much better than last time. Which is what I was looking for. I hit level 15 this time, although that still doesn't put me on the first page of results even with it set to one hundred per page. I did have terrible drops though I suppose, I didn't get even one rare.
