Actually it is either half their damage or only about 1/4 depends on if you are using RF or not. With just Pain-Attunement its about 1/4 which means 300k dps instead of 400k :P

The point im trying to get across really is that ggg seem to be making many decisions that seem to be accumulating the disatisfaction value of a lot of players.

I fear that they are unnecessarily reducing the games lifespan with these decisions.

The point he wants to bring up is if you are buying items because of their value you are doing it wrong. Or it is just speculating, similar to stock-trading. If you are using items you shouldn't bother if a certain item is nerfed for use with a build that isn't yours. And somebody using CoE without being lowlife wouldn't be affected by the nerf and still owns a very powerful item (most likely the best). Yet for some odd reasons some people either falsly claim that this is a problem or don't even care that they aren't affected by the nerf.

Their really isn't a point in a permanent league if every few months they do massive nerfs to huge portions of the game. This is just one of the first nerf of many to come this patch. Permanent leagues should have far more stability to them. The challenge leagues are the place to do massive changes constantly.

Just kidding :) I was lucky enough to find one in a Dom cull party - meaning some other culler culled it for me. Sold that one for 45 & a few days later bought a better roll for 49 thinking I can mess with it on some future build. With all this whining my math tells me I'm out 4 ex so I guess I'm not in the same boat as those that had to sell their mothers and other loved once for that helm.

So I never did a PA build but I assume if you continue to take "16% Spell Damage" or 6%.. or even PA's 30% when your life is sub 35%, don't you still get all those as a bonus to phis attacks wearing the crown? If so why are people crying? Is there some sort of an exploit that was not fixed which is what the fuss is about?

I assume you can still get those passives and they all still work as CoE intends for them to work?
