Thread like this exist because GGG decides to make different version of an item in the first place, namely Legacy.

The expectation is always there that when an item is too good, people stack enough currency to get it, so they can either get it low and sell high or just wish to get a superior version when it goes legacy.
Such hype, when GGG instead of making an item legacy, they decided to nerf the item. Now most people having the item QQ and rage because of particular reasons.

That is why, legacy should never exist in the first place. The damage is there in the community where everyone expect a legacy, such a cancer.

So it was easy to devalue COE by 20 ex by changing a mod on all of them and not creating a legacy version. Would it have been equally as easy to just nerf the new ones that drop?

Why GGG chooses COE to be the first unique that they nerf (at least in value) to the ground and screw over those who already have it?
