I red spectres loose all rare properties which means they should loose the "more life" bonus as well but i am not sure about the base life of magic/rare monsters.

all rare/magic properties are removed. there are some inherent properties based on monster type though, which stay. ie flame sentinel have innate ES and augmented fireball, and they stay. evangelists have elem. resists and chaos resists as well as the 'bubble', which stay.

more life is a property of rare/magic or map. so they are removed as well

357 mana regen? I can hardly manage to get enough for lvl 19 arctic armor (without wasting all of my mana on overleveled clarity). I guess, running at that point will be out of the question, d2 style teleport everywhere!


thats a serious consideration considering lightning warp is a decent skill for spreading EE already. Can just pop a mana flask (saturated would work good) when you do need to run.

It'd be much easier than gearing around 400 mana regen :p

Huh? I kill Temple Piety all the time. My Zombies all survive. I use Saffell's/Necromantic Aegis combo and purity of lightning and they barely take damage. I'm at more risk of dying than they are. Just avoid stuff like multiple projectiles and you'll be fine on her.

Haven't tried Crematorium yet tho, maybe that will be more difficult.


I'm currently stuck at Crematorium and I can't progress any further.. I just found a waaay better gauntlet and I switched up some stuff.. like I used Incinirate before but I dropped that for Vulnerability.. Increased my chances a lot! I'm going to link up my skeletons with a totem - faster attacks and multistrike while dropping minion instability.. I think this will increase my dps(which I'm lacking right now) and I'll start focussing hard on all the minion nodes from now on so they are able to tank the upcoming maps as well, I won't use necromantis aegis as it'll significantly drop my own survival and I'll get oneshotted by pretty much anything. And I'm being hit a lot in Crematorium. Anyone got some more tips?

I believe you guys are talking about different crematorium. one of you is talking about map version of crematorium with magaera the firestorm caster as a super hard boss, and the other about crematorium in regular game content :)
So I'm trying a slightly different 6L with Arctic Breath now.

Arctic Breath > Curse on Hit > GMP > Enfeeble > Temp Chains > Blind.

Killing speed is "slightly lower" (honestly, tri curse was only really needed on bosses), however, BM survivability has sky rocketed, being able to curse mobs from 2 screens away AND blind them is a huge plus.

I'm gonna try necromatic aegis out later when I get saffel's. This means potentially dropping 3 auras though, and I'm not entirely sure if its a great idea or not. I know determination does little for BMs, and discipline could be dropped (huge mana loss though). Grace however, will be another matter to work back in.
Shocked ground...great. So much love for summoners, as if burning ground wasn't enough.

Yeah you're right.. sorry for not being clear enough...

I'm also thinking about dropping Vitality for Discipline to increase their survivability in short burst fights. But on the other side, I don't have the pots yet to keep them alive without it. God! It's so frustrating to be a noob :P haha

im new to the game and got some questions regarding dem minion mechanics. I hope i dont ask too much staff alredy discussed, else im sorry.
Just to make sure: IR doesnt affect minions at all and is in this build here only used for survaivability of dem exile, right? I was thinking about, if Determination or Grace gives the better survivability to dem minions, but i couldnt find anything about their base armor or evasionrating...
Second question is regarding boosting minion damage with remote mine. As i read here that works for zombies (and i guess for skeles and spectres too). So remote mine gives you like for example "30% more damage". If i pick up some mine damage nodes in the passive tree, for example 10%, do these 10% increase the remote mine to like "33% more damage", or do these 10% get added to the minion damage or how does this work? If somebody knows i would rly like to know. I saw you guys discussing this a bit to compare with faster attcks amd multistrike. (I just started lvling a summoner, just arriving at piety normal, and i rly like the fire trap so far and was thinking about sticking with it and building a trap/summon hybrid...)
Also remote mine doesnt increase the MI damage when my minions explode i guess? Would be cool if i could increase the MI damage with remote mine to build a trap/summoner/bomber....

Everyone most likely already knows this already but for us newer players it may me something you want to bookmark.

I found a very handy web page called PoExplorer.com that apparently data mines the trading forums and allows you to quickly find items you may want to pick up through the use of several filters.

I hope this helps those that did not already know about this site.
