According to a quick internet search* it provides "Quality Bonus is 10% increased spell damage at 20% quality." so it completely negates the 10% loss.

Edit: Okay, I just realized I am not certain of the difference in wording and how it affects things, so the 10% 'increased' may not actually negate the 10% 'less' damage.
Increased/reduced is not the same as more/less so the quality bonus will not negate the damage loss.

Still haven't been able to find a 100% for sure answer on this. Yes obviously the 10% less damage applies to eva's attacks but does the spell damage bonus from quality effect their physical damage spell cast? Yes its a spell but it does phy damage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you want a definite answer, it would probably be best to just ask a dev (probably Mark).
Going from wording alone, though, it would only make sense for it to apply to the Eva spell, as it does not give any certain limitations (like it only boosts fire or lightning spells) and even though the Eva's spell is a physical one, it is still a spell.

hi matt
is it possible to follow the 40 point breakup as you have given to level with? as a new summoner?
ive seen other summoner route's and some seem to go to the hexmaster whispers route first... and CI...
I want to know if we can just stick to the point progression you have given without any re-spec.
