" I think you missed my point. I could argue one doesn't lose anything more in HC, the character is simply moved to default. One doesn't lose items, they are still there. What's lost is the entitlement to remain in that league. But, I won't, I accept that even by choice, the penalty in HC is worse than in default. For the simple reason, again although by choice, one wants to remain in HC league. The point, though, is that at a certain lvl, it becomes irrelevant that there is a difference. The actions required are the same. Avoid challenge, overgear, spec a certain way. Know what I'm saying? Let's try a RL analogy, although they rarely work. Default low-mid lvl, take on those bad guys and you may end up with a bloody nose. HC low-mid lvl, take on those bad guys and you may end up with a bloody nose and marooned on a desert island. Default high lvl, take on those bad guys and you may end up in intensive care with a leg missing, collapsed lungs and a brain haemorrhage. HC high lvl, take on those bad guys and you may end up in intensive care with a leg missing, collapsed lungs and a brain haemorrhage and marooned on a desert island. See what I mean? While i personally don´t have anything against ffa loot, i think many players will enjoy the new loot allocation. As always good job GGG! =)

On what grounds? All I hear is that its hard to get a map pool started, which simply isnt true, especially not on SC. You can easily but a bunch of 70+ maps on HC. Sure it will cost you quite a bit of currency, but if you dont want to invest that amount of money you can still buy 68 maps for cheap and grind your way up tp 70+++ ones. You have no valid to justify what youre asking for. You provide less and want the same, but thats simply not how the world works my friend. |

This is the first change for quite some time I really feel like clapping my hands!
(and no... NOT a sarcastic clapping!) This will probably be the first time encouraging me to play in a party. Nice thing for a change after the line of prior adjustments. |

On average, the mapmakers will gain the most wealth per map if all white maps go to them, like it should be since they invested the most wealth into the maps. " Was it important? This is not a change based on feedback, this is a change based on players preferences after getting used to playing hand holding type MMO's/D3. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and sadly, when you find out this change was a mistake it will be all too late. If you are a player who likes to play cooperatively you will have to play the 5 minute timer. Anyone who chooses to host/join a FFA game when they have a choice not too will only be there to loot faster than the other guy. By giving options the middle ground is lost. |

" FP is pretty much tanking in melee range, same goes for a lot of LS, CI Cyclone, Ele cleave builds. You can easily tank as LA as well as long as youre not cursed with Vulnurability. Dual totem and all other CI builds that dont rely on leech are less tanky than any health/armor based build could ever be. It would be impossible for these people to ever get an item because they would be in a severe disadvantage towards [insert non CI wihtout leech build]. Thats not competitive, its the exact opposite. The game would pretty much force you to not play pure ranged anymore because you would never get a single item. What a coincidence that they are about to buff melee in the exact same patch, isnt it? |
