Warning for Ultra widescreen Mod after I disabled it

Darling, nothing you say makes sense.

Willful ignorance isn't helping anyone. Nor is trying to turn this into an emotional argument.

"
First of all, if PoE1 only survived because GGG was able to "exploit" whales, that's a non-argument because they could do the same for PoE2, thus it would not die.

It did exploit them though. Without people dropping hundreds and hundreds of dollars on microtransactions and supporter packs. The game wouldn't have lasted.

This is literally how the game monetizes itself to profit. There is no argument against this. Microtransaction games, the vast majority of them. Are all like this. They expect a small percentage of players to carry the game monetarily. They design the game in a way that tries to encourage more people to spend. Game-padding mechanics, addictive mechanics.

PoE 1 was what.. ? Gambling simulator? Common correlation based on the orb mechanics, low drop rates. People constantly describe it as a slot machine simulator.

"
Furthermore, whatever you "point out" needs a basis to be supported, and no...
making things up and/or connections meaningless stuff to support your negativity is not a basis.

It's easy to win an emotional argument when you state the other person is just 'making things up' right?

You are unable to differentiate the difference between personally enjoying the game, and considering it good, or it being an objectively good game.

Subjective, vs objective. Good games don't need to rely on predatory game design or microtransactions to survive.

There's nothing wrong with you wanting to support the company if you like the game despite these negatives.

The simple fact remains though. If people liked the game, if the game was GOOD. It would have more players. Not 30k on a weekend.

Do you mean ignorance like... ignoring data, misrepresenting information, or making things up while pretending it's a "point"? Yeah... ironic dude.

Depends what "exploit" you are talking about.
I mean, we both know you don't mean "exploit - make full use of and derive benefit from a resource (utilize)".
You probably talk about "exploit - make use of (a situation) in a way considered unfair or underhand".

While the first "exploiting" would be true because GGG utilized their resources, the second "exploiting" is not.

And what is this "Game-padding mechanics, addictive mechanics." nonsense?
What game-padding mechanics are implemented only to get your money?
And what... is making a game that's so fun that some get addicted to it now a bad thing? Wth, that's on the consumer and not on the provider.

Bruh... if you think that PoE1 is a slot machine it only tells everyone who actually played PoE1 that you have no clue what you are talking about.
Not everything with a layer of randomness is a slot machine and other clueless ppl like you saying "iT's A sLoT mAcHiNe" doesn't make it true.

There is no "emotional argument". And you literally make things up.
You present fabricated numbers and make up baseless conclusions...
EVERYBODY can read the entire conversation and follow what you wrote.

Perfect example as to the community around this game, and why it never had a more widespread appeal.

Best of luck to you Jakker. I'm done playing your games.

So you are done playing PoE2?
No, just deal with the fact that you'll play the game like everyone else that don't have the advantage of dummy wide screens.

Also, it dose not matter if you disabled the mod, it would have been logged and you are lucky that you got a warning.
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

Is this League of Legends or something? Where if you have a big screen you can win more often?

It's a fucking arpg. Where most people don't even interact with anyone outside of copying a whisper for a trade request.

Come on man. This isn't a competitive game. Why does it matter if someone has a wide screen?

"oh, once a year they do a race"

Yeah, that's not competitive. That's an event.

Got anymore of those god awful analogies? Or does higher fps equal higher field of view? Kek.

I'm so glad GGG is finally bringing down the hammer on that "mod" and evens the playing field. Imagine you get 21:9 and somehow that's not enough, still.

And it matters why?

Is the game competitive? Are you racing players or fighting against them where having this huge field of view actually matters? Is that what the game is based around? Seems to me it's a single player ARPG mostly, where people mindlessly grind.

Why do people lie to themselves about this game. It's a single player game where 'some' players engage with a economy. This isn't league of legends, where being able to see the entire top lane with your monitor actually gives you an advantage.

Wrong.

You fundamentally don't understand the game.

First of all, MOST ppl (and not "some") play trade and engage with it.
Secondly, everyone who is engaging in trade is competing with everyone else over items, resources, etc.

You don't need direct competition like it is in "team-based" games with a ladder and rank to climb to be competitive.
Furthermore, PoE has an official ladder and races too.

So, having way more information than someone else is an advantage.
