Warning for Ultra widescreen Mod after I disabled it

Same. I played the beta and thought "Well, it's way more simple than PoE, but combat is fun so far and the story seems interesting". The problem is, you normally would assume that the game gets even better the further you get, like... the first few levels are the "tutorial", but instead the quality went down after Act 1 so fast... I view it personally as a scam.

Classic poe fans take:
D4 beta - you shouldn't assume it will ever get better, CCU growth on season 7 and 8 is a lie
Poe2 beta - you should only assume it will get better, everyone who disagrees will be lectured to death

kappa?:)

I mean, the "Diablo 4 - beta" was only a few days, so assuming that the rest is finished and has a similar quality is not far-fetched.
Compare that now to the "PoE2 - beta" that will last at least 6 months and highly likely way longer. So everything can be improved until full release.

On top, you can look at previous titles both developers produced and can conclude who is more likely to actually deliver something good given some time.

I can say so far that I havn't played POE2 since they took away 32:9 and called me a cheater for it. Who knows if I'll play again. Bummer. Can't help it I bought a nice monitor to enjoy the view, and that's exactly what I'm going to do with it. Plenty of other games out there!
Same here, I was all in on this game until they took away 32:9. Now i'll just play something else like last epoch 2 that lets me use my full screen without black bars.
also not sure if im just gonna risk a ban and keep on playing in 32:9, or just abandon the game until they let us use our expensive monitors.
ive played this game for 500 hours straight the first 2 months after release and my OLED monitor would have gotten severe burn in after that excessive playtime. i was basically breathing this game for 18 hours per day, even took 2 weeks off of work. but im not going to risk my 1000$ monitor for 1 game.
Perfect example as to why this game is sitting at 20k players on a weekend 3 months after release.

It's not about fun. It's about protecting their economy. Which only exists to keep players hooked, addicted, and feeding them more money.

The game has 35k on Steam alone and that's even a bit more than every single PoE1 league had at this point. Blah again.

Wow, seems like a great investment of 7 years development time and millions and millions of dollars then.

I wonder how it's going to make money though. Usually when a game has 30k players, it tends to struggle making money unless they implement predatory Microtransactions.

How many game companies have failed recently with games selling 60,000 copies?

Man... I wonder how PoE1 made money... they only had below 10k players in every single league after 100 days.

You're right. You're almost there.

How DID POE 1 make money?

From what I see, it had a playerbase of addicted whales that they exploited. Players that are now on the forums every day trying to cope with that fact, rather than confront it.

You having a good time on the forums Jakker? You're here basically every day. A loud minority that's talking about how good this game is and how good the company is, when everything is pointing to the opposite.

Darling, nothing you say makes sense.
First of all, if PoE1 only survived because GGG was able to "exploit" whales, that's a non-argument because they could do the same for PoE2, thus it would not die.
Furthermore, whatever you "point out" needs a basis to be supported, and no...
making things up and/or connections meaningless stuff to support your negativity is not a basis.
