regals is just an example, you can do this with many other currencies, now what you gonna tell me is someone everywhere taking a loss so you can gain ?:)

So do you agree with banning the supplier or have another 'solution'?

There is no "Alva Exploit"... the OP not understanding trade is not an exploit.

Can you explain? I understand that buying cheap and selling expensive is a legitimate market opportunity, but what can be done through Alva is a completely different level.

Different level? How?

Because it's faster than trading via direct player interactions? Sure.
But that's not an exploit - that's QoL.

You know, before the currency exchange ppl were able to "price fix" these items and could scam anyone who wasn't aware of the actual market value because these ppl were able to "list" but "refuse to sell" (faking the ratio).
That's not an issue with the exchange - if these ppl list items too low now, they scam themselves.
So it's just user error if someone "underprices" and not the system's fault.

The OP posits that, through using Alva, you can create new exalts and thereby flood the market. That's the "exploit". But you can't. All you can do is take advantage of other players to get their exalts way below market value, just shuffling around the exalts in existence.

So no exploit.

That said, that what the OP is doing is possible does indicate that the currency exchange needs a bit of work. That they can be on both ends of the equation with such a huge gap... The system should really be selling the exalts they are buying to those people selling the large quantity of regals.

They want you to believe that what's happening at Alva is normal. But let's be real...any reasonable person can see that making 50 times your investment in just five minutes is an exploit.

Check out this screenshot I just took few mins ago, https://ibb.co/Y7ZQhyMd
I bought 2,900 Regal Orbs for 1 Exalt, then sold them back for 50 Exalts. The cost for making 49 exalted in my pocket? Just 5 minutes of my time, 1 Exalt + 354k gold.

Now, think about this, if you farmed a map for five minutes instead of flipping at Alva, how many Exalts would you normally make? Maybe 5–10? This broken system allows players to get far more currency from others through Alva than traditional farming. As a result, the game is (or soon will be) flooded with bots farming gold to be able to do this at Alva instead of real gameplay using Alva to trade for Exalts, then converting them into Divines and eventually real money. And if not the bots then the normal players are doing this also because is too easy and why not right? Why should you do endless boring maps hoping you drop some divines when you can make a shitload of exalts at Alva doing this so you can buy the divines? As I said.. this state of game is ridiculous right now.

You know what's "funny"? is that you still get your currency drops by doing the map to get the gold for Alva, the Alva flipping is just a bonus to let you use your gold to get rich:)) Gold became a very powerfull thing, that why you see ppl on chat saying "buying all your 1-14 lvl maps", those are flippers which are selling the maps to the npc to get the gold fast to do this Alva flipping over and over.

Now, excuse me but I go do a map quickly so I can get 300k gold again to repeat this over and over again ^^. As I said, I wish you all happy flipping boys.

Another example, I've just made 147 exalted orbs by flipping 1 Greater essence of Haste. What was the cost for adding in 2 mins 147 exalted profit in my pocket?
As you can see in the pic below, I paid 751 exalted to buy the essence then sold it back for 898 exalted, all it took was 2 mins to gain 147 exalted orb (plus 91k gold Alva fee). So yea.. I think I proved it enough how ridiculous this is..

Regal orbs was just an example, you can do this all day long with different currencies and gain insane amount of exalts from flipping.

I wonder how OP will react when they learn what they're seeing/doing is called "spread" and it yields tons of money in the real world for the people who are able to do these operations....

Going from "THERE'S A BUG IN THE GAME!!!! FIXIT!" to "WTF! THIS EXISTS IN REAL LIFE????"

bro are you back at trolling some more? I am asking GGG to fix the npc FLIPPING part as the title says, what bug are you talking about? Or whats your problem? you can't use the Alva npc if you can't flip back and forth thousands of the same orbs? Ignored from now on.

you can't see unless you press Alt key to see the "competing trades" (hover over the "market ratio" text and press alt) . Then if you go at Alva right now you can see that you can buy 2900 regals for 1 exalt (or whatever ratio is shown when you looking at the competing trades). And then if you switch to selling the regals and press Alt there too to show the competing trades, you can see you can sell 81 regals for 1 exalt. Always look at the competing offers that's what matters. Ignore what alva shows you by default...
