GGG, you need to fix Alva npc flipping NOW!

Humm yeah, I don't know about this, I know inflation is high right now but it's part of the trade league so obviously it's gonna accelerate things but so is trading normally and it would be much worst with an actual Auction House.

I don't really see a problem with that tho, people are just dumping currencies for cheap right now since we're near end the of the season but as you can see not all currencies are being dumped equally. It is what it is and again I don't really see an issue that has to be fixed, it's just free market based on supply and demand, there's bound to be good deals that you can exploit, it's just worst now since people are dumping en masse.

I mean you don't really need 4k Exalted orbs and even if you can make profit with that, it's the end of the league...the value is low.

fair enough, however I decided to post about this after over 1 month of flipping, because is not right imo to be able to earn that much that fast from Alva just using gold to flip, especially to try at least to prevent this to happen again in the new league. . I am seeing it happening non stop, daily..

Sure, we have 60.000 players more or less playing right now, but this arbitrage keep recycling for a very long time and there is NO WAY i can see several accounts farming regal orbs on a regular basis [Dont even try to justify that, its just impossible].

My assumption is that those thousands and thousands of regal orbs [In this specific case] were created by massive bot farming [probably even now some are still active] during the first 2/3 weeks of the game and they kept circulating as currency ``flipping``

With the new economy, we can only hope for the better, but as the current situation stands it cant be undone.

What you describing is a bot bug, that sells regals to alva for a very bad price and I hope that botters will not check this thread and fix their bot.

Don't feel bad about it because what you are doing right now is taking some profit from bots. No sane player would sell so much of 1:700 regals when price is like 1:40.

(BTW. It will not be fixed ever, not in this game and any other. It's not GGG fault, there is just no fix for boting.)

No mate, that's completely wrong imo. I am not saying are no bots in the game, however I think are not the bots which are feeding the flippers, are just a lot of players just following blindly what Alva shows them.

If you look at this pic which is taken 1 min ago,https://ibb.co/HvX0BJZ that is what is displayed to anyone who wants to sell their regal orbs.
So if Alva tells them, you can get 1 exalt per 900 regals in that window then that's what they can get right now for their orbs, and thats what they do, they sell their orbs thinking thats the value now.
They are not going to double check the other way around and open the other window to see that ratio because they are not interested to buy regals.

Once a player sold their 900 regals to me (because I am the flipper which added that offer of 900:1 to alva) he fed me, then I go ahead and resell those 900 regals to other normal players unaware of this difference in ratios (buy vs sell) because Alva shows them this ratio (50:1) https://ibb.co/MyDx90s7 as normal when they want to buy regals. And the cycle repeats, flippers massively profiting from unaware players.

So, I think is the way alva is displaying the ratio the issue because many ppl are unaware they must press Alt key to see (buy vs sell ratios) and even if they do they don't understand what "competing trades" means.

Pretty much my issue as well. GGG needs to show both sides at the same time. It's god awful annoying to switch the currencies to see the ratios people are buying AND selling for.

Pretty much my issue as well. GGG needs to show both sides at the same time. It's god awful annoying to switch the currencies to see the ratios people are buying AND selling for.
