and it should not be dark souls in the first place, this arpg online game, not single player offline game....
the wait is long ... and the wait for poe1 to wait seems even longer ... people will end up giving up on the game, you need rhythm and fun to make the game live, we fall asleep waiting and it becomes counterproductive
we really have the impression that you rushed to release an EA to satisfy your new shareholders and reassure them and that you have nothing ready behind it and that since then you have been filling in the blanks to make us wait... people will end up realizing it...

game is pretty boring
need new spirit abilities and abilities in general to mix things up
when can we expect dex + str melee weapon? I noticed shields that have str + dex requirement, so a melee weapon with such requirement would be great. I play as mercenary, and the ascendancy could support melee gameplay too, I think
If they think those are the major problems at the game... then i'm loosing all hopes.

Please, nerf some one shot builds, like attribute stacker and sparks! No motovation to play another builds.
1 death maps - great decision, please keep it for release, this gives motivation to be careful and appreciate the passage of maps.
Player's Opinion After 750 Hours in Early Access

After playing for 750 hours in this first early access, I have to say that the map design feels a billion times worse than in PoE1. It is extremely frustrating to constantly crash into so many walls and navigate through endless labyrinths. Players will always find ways to optimize their builds, yet it is more than evident that the structure of the maps is designed to waste time rather than to be enjoyed by fully exploring them.

The overlapping system is terrible. I have tested the best setups, using more than 40 regex filters for tablets and maps, but the PoE1 system was much more thoughtful. This version is missing beetles and a better Atlas tree.

On a positive note, the bosses are well-designed—you can really feel the effort put into them. However, the endgame experience is extremely frustrating. I strongly urge you to consider making a radical change in direction.

I have a very good PC-setup, but playing this game on Windows 11 24H2 has been a nightmare. I estimate over 100 complete PC crashes, not to mention how awful it feels to play Breach encounters at 30 FPS or less. The constant stuns from Delirium are unbearable. Playing PoE2 feels like running a relay race while three people are holding onto your arms and legs, forcing you to jump and roll under extreme weight. That’s exactly how my characters feel—completely restricted—nothing like the absolute freedom that PoE1 offers.
