then you shouldnt of fucked vine builds over. should of focused on making more builds equivalent of balance of power more instead of fucking that one build over then fucking over the next and next.

INstead of fucking 90 to 99% of the players who dont have that gear because they cant get to pinnacles yet. lets not forget the simple fact of the matter is nerfing a build is NEVER the answer and ENABLING Another build is always the answer.

Arsonists. fun build extremely fun build... yet unplayable build post nerf for any real minion master. you fucked their reservations cost but did nothing in return for fucking them over.... yeah fire that developer that thinks this is a valid idea for fixing the balance. oh wait if all builds are shit and equally shitty they are balanced? Thus why i will prioritize LE > maybe other new ARPG > then maybe poe2 at this point (and other factors like the fucktarded idiots working on uniques that ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY FUCKING SUCK STILL!!!!!!!!)

To say things are balanced is to say its all shit to me at this point, and no i dont care to entertain ratio of poe1/2 cultists saying poe good when its definately fucking shit show despite being a massively beautiful game.

not to mention the #1 thing of all people i know that quit has been your fucktarded stupid ass mechanics.

Also stop giving bosses fucking plot armor. if my DPS is good enough to kill it fast then dont give me a fucking season of dialogue and protect it from dieng.
I don't understand the balance problems. They are only going to compound as the other skills/classes are brought in. Finish the game. Then, balance it. Everything that GGG has listed is inferior to finishing the product. I can guarantee once you bring in the druid, templar, and duelist, the popular classes will spread out and balance will be all out again. Not to mention big final fantasy swords.

The end game maps are still incohesive and really are just a random mess. There is no feeling that you are in a world. It is all just random. I want to visit iconic lands of Wraeclast. Not just a random biome. It makes no sense the story and game has so much detail it is unbelievable and then just make the endgame a mess instead of diving deeper in to the world. I would rather see an atlas of just acts 1-3 and have random maps drop to go in to those areas. Make the rest later, that is fine. This random generated map thing just plain sux. It is like AI trying to make a story, bland, unoriginal and just boring.

Yes, balance is in a bad place and there are few builds that just outshine. But, that will happen. The key is to make all skills end up just leveling stuff the same as the op specs in the game. And at about the same time. Other games diversify by making builds that map quicker, boss quicker, mf better, get materials faster or have a good balance. That diversity should be the focus.

Yes, the end game loot in maps is a let down. But, it also isn't all there. Again, many classes to add. Work on the end product. Balance now is just dumb. Many synergies will come from the added content.


Back to maps. I know POE used maps in the endgame. It was a good system. But, there are times when you just want to play and not have to deal with making making maps, screw around with the atlas. Can we make a feature where you can run an entire road or region. Blend the zones to make them feel seemless. Put some tech behind this thing.

Also, the alternate bosses take way too many resources. Ritual maps are uncommon. 300 splinters to pick up? I have carpal tunnel just clicking 300 times to do one boss. Let's revise this.


Please, work on finishing the game, then make the endgame more engaging, and then after it is all implemented, work on balance. Otherwise you are going to get stuck wasting a lot of resources on something that doesnt even matter until full release.

If one is to work effectively one has to focus on a smaller set of things at a time.

Of course they have identified many more things as priority issues but one has to focus on a certain number at a time. They have most likely made a generalized list of items and ranked those individual items by severity, #1 being priority number 1.

They believe the 4 very, very loosely defined and all-encompassing issues listed to be the 4 biggest problems with Path of Exile 2 right now, out of a list of many more issues.
Yes.
Under biggest problems is missing Trade system. Should be #1. Couldn't give a crap about balance at this stage so what a player is killing your boss.

only an idiot would say this. the biggest problem is the nerfs. the biggest problems are the insane stupidity of getting 1 shot in ascendencies because the devs dont like your build. the stupidest problem is sanctums stupidity if you dont have the 100% evade builds. which would be fixed by deleting gauntlets from the trial.
The tempo change from POE 1 to POE 2 was bad at first, but you adjust. Tempo is fine IMO.

The biggest frustration point for me is the conditions for completing the map are not highlighted at the start of the map. I understand they wanted to do something different from POE 1 bossrushing, but the rares being spread out in the map is already enough to have most people kill most things on the way.

Mark the rares/bosses on the maps at the start please. Biggest QOL in mapping

back tracking feels awful.

Other than that, keep up the good work. If you continue to take player build feedback, I think you will notice where some skills need a leg up.

what nerf, they're not nerfing anything

just get good? I've never been one shot in any of the trials, even with the weakest ascendancies such as witch hunter

what the heck are you talking about mate?

if you have no clue what you're doing, just buy a carry for the trials
