You guys know Beta testers like to see you working, right?
Though this game is more Alpha IMO. Players like to see those patch notes constantly. Trust me. Players want to see changes and fixes no matter how small being pumped out.
It's good you talk to the community and tell them your intentions but it feels like you're treating this like an official release. Being careful with the economy and delaying changes because of it. If you nerf something then next day think. Well maybe that was a bit much then buff it the next day. Who cares? You're trying to get the numbers right. No one with a brain is going to judge you. However, everyone is going to judge you for slow work or inaction. I actually went back and looked at a project while it was in beta and for 4 months there was a patch nearly every day. Obviously after beta I had big full pages of changes but in beta, throw that stuff out. Players like to see you working as they're playing. They like to see their reports being fixed quickly. Beta is volatile by nature. Just do it. It's worth it. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac Last bumped on Jan 29, 2025, 7:53:29 AM

" You guys know that game developers like to see you not talking shit, right? |

No one bought the game thinking they are beta testers. Putting "Early Access" on the label doesn't change that thinking.

This is the worst EA game i've ever participated in. They have 500,000x+ the budget of small indie titles and cannot manage a modicom of communication. They should have constant - weekly or at least bi-monthly posts about whats coming and what they are doing, but they cannot be bothered. Truthfully, I don't even think they know.

" They launch the game, post patches for a couple of days, then go on vacation for a month. Come back, post a couple of fixes, and radio silent for 2 weeks. How can you support that? I don't want to understand lol. I'm a skeptical user and borderline hater.

You joking right?
The game developers have honestly been fantastic. Their turn around on patches has been very quick and their communication has been pretty decent. Programming this stuff takes time you can’t just bash it out in an afternoon and call it done. |

" We must be playing different games. |

I gotta admit, the radio silence is frustrating. I remember GGG posting on almost a daily basis covering builds, roadmaps, ideas and patches.

" That was back when Bex still worked for GGG. The studio's community relations game has declined quite a bit ever since she left. |
