Exp loss is dumb [Removed by Support]

It's truly hilarious how obsessed people are with reaching lvl 100. Like, what's the different it would even make, why every second post is about them not being able to reach it :) How they can't realize that they are not supposed to?

not very good at reading, again i could forgive the exp loss if not for how punishing everything else is on top of it, and im harping on the exp cause i dont want to see the game go supper easy either. getting kicked in the balls after losing my materials and time, while also losing progress in the maps to have the loss in exp added on top of all that as well is insulting and demoralizing, the solution is to simply change/remove it and guys like u ignoring any solution while lambasting other mechanics and gatekeeping difficulty is actually acting like an 8yro

This is why I argue for better co-op!

If people could revive each other in maps, it would affect things a HUGE amount! This is an MMO, whether people want to argue semantics... And, POE1 is basically a single player 'MMO'.

POE2 could differentiate itself easily by making it more 'MMO', supportive of co-op.

Make us able to revive each other in maps!!

This would also fix other issues... *cough* rituals... that rely entirely on 'owner of the map*.

The current way of things heavily dissuades players from grouping. Grouping is pretty much a 100% bad thing right now.

glad to see all of the shills coming out of their wholes with their dogshit takes. if you dont want your mmo to cater to players with different time and skill levels then ur mmo dies. and yes i know its an arpg but it is first and foremost a MassiveMultiplayerOnline game. and [Removed by Support]. i specified some compromises but ur all to [Removed by Support] and stubborn to make any concession. if your game can kill the motivation of someone with over 5000+ h in wareframe do u seriously think it wont do so to the rest of the casuals. ur lucky diablo sucks and last epoch was a dud, give it time tho and sometime sooner or later someone will break that glass tower your so comfortable throwing stones from. its really not that heard to find compromises for the betterment of the game but i guess elitism, gatekeeping, and your imaginary "sense of accomplishment" for enduring a broken system is more important.

Rough, you call people stubborn and dumb while auto-rejecting peoples opinions which you call "dog shit takes"... I hope you see the irony in your post. If you're serious, try adapting because I don't think EXP loss on death is going anywhere. They've already added omens to prevent the majority of loss but if you're dying that much that you're proccing a handful in a day then you're either a glass cannon or reckless.

auto rejecting people saying "lol just dont die" isnt ironic its literally the reason i opened with so much hostility to begin with. i saw other post and got frustrated with everyone saying its nbd just get good. ur the first person to be semi reasonable with ur take. still cant gear differently if i cant play and die constantly. and once again i have to say i dont want to see the difficulty be reduced just the penalty for mistakes, and to ur point im playing a sorceress and they tend to land on the glassy side and i dont think i should be punished severly for every little mistake

They would quit long before, even without experience loss... totally pointless thing to complain about. Afterwards they would just move on to complaining about the next thing, "I can't find perfect items," "divs are too rare."

if thats the truly by design then its a poor design. not being able to grow and essentially hit a hard wall in the very start of endgame is bad for the health of the game period. and again u can have a wall there just dont knee cap me for trying to clime it, thats massively discouraging and not how any of the rest of the game is

some mayb would but grouping everyone into the complainer category and completely missing the i dont want all of my progress wasted together seems a bit disingenuous. this isnt only about the exp loss its the fact that its there on top of everything else and essentially burning the candle (player) from both ends. my options r grinding low level/low risk content for days, spend actual money on carries, or play in a way that sucks the fun out of the experience. and then i come to the community and see them bashing any and everyone voicing their concerns about this as an issue cause to them its just another obstacle to overcome. it ridiculous to me that u and everyone seem to have this elitist mindset that if me and others want to play a version of this entertainment product without time wasting weights arbitrarily attached to us that we dont deserve a place at the table. great way to kill the growth of game u claim to enjoy
I get the impression you don't want to hear any advice or opinions that differ from your own. I think you just want to vent, which is fine. You want the game to cater to your own version, regardless of the developers want to create. That is fine as well, to each their own.

All that being said, I think hardcore would better suit your playstyle. Yolo behavior thrives there. Maybe don't run every map you juice, pick the ones you can reasonably do, and shoot for small goals every play session.

It's your game though so do you boo-boo.

i would take this as compromise honestly. when me and my friend got in together finally when i caught up only to realize we were basically just extra dps/obstacles for one another it really took the wind out of our sails
