Please do NOT add an Auction House
Can we just add a feature to the Stash trading system we have now, that if a person buys an item thats listed, the item gets sent to them or something?
We already technically have an auction house, the issue is getting the item to the player and having to jump through hoops each time. So if the item a player buys, simply gets movedout of the stash and into their "mailbox" or something, that would solve a lot of issues wouldn't it? I've only been playing a few weeks and all I use the trading system for is to sell stuff i'm finding while leveling up and its tiring to have to recall to go hand the buyer an item, please don't yell at me because I have no idea what the heck these master-traders are doing with their 9000 divine orbs and 5 million exalts. I only have 8 exalts so far and no orbs and im lvl 50ish. So i'm a newb |

" thats not true, period. saying everybody with a different opinion about this topic than you is a liar and accusing them to have worst intentions is bs. you should start thinking before writing. i have enough experience in this and other games to have legitimate concerns about automated trading. you may not like my opinion, you may not share my concerns, but they have nothing to do with bad intentions. |

Trading is horrible, worse than most games I can think of. Times have changed and with that so has gaming and the need for an auction house.

" Lmao sure thing boss. When every mechanic that has kept new players away for years gets suggested to change and the white night veteran steps in saying they are here to protect the new players from terrible changes it's obviously bad intentions. You want to argue other aspects go right ahead. I'm only calling you out if you want to argue that keeping it as is somehow protects new players. |

" i play poe for 10 years, i want this game to succeed and yes, i want to protect players from in my opinion bad changes. at least im confident about having more experience about this topic than a guy that played a single league and does nothing but accusing others instead of discussing the topic. i have like i said, legitimate concerns about abusable automated trading. can you ensure thats not the case? as soon as ggg comes around the corner with a system that isnt able to be abused by bots or scammers, im on board instantly. as long as this doesnt happen, im against it. |

"Trading" right now is a simple coinflip is someone reacts or not.
The interaction is mostly party invite, port to hideout, buy/sell the item, a ty /t4t/ or 3rd party tool custom ty sentence. And thats it. And this interaction if you can even call it that is totally not worth having to deal with people who put in lowball prices to fool newer players into thinking they have only items that are of low value. When you talk about setting up live alerts to "snipe" good prices you are basically confirming that you are also praying on the inexperience of people who price items lower than what the actual worth would be. So its to no surprise that you want to keep the current system. The moment you can straight up buy from the trade side for the listed price there would be no price fixing anymore. So any try at an argument that the current system is actually helping newer players since they know they underpriced stuff when they get spammed with requests is such a bad argument. Because the moment no price fixing would be possible there is no need for that since you can already see the "real" prices and are not met with price fixes... So on an interaction point you loose nothing. You completely kill price fixing. So as far as i see it the only reason you guys want to keep the current system is because you can use it to your own advantage by... how can i say it nice... do the same thing all the bots do without being bots... (Find items priced too low and spamming the person in hopes they are stupid and sell it to you and not the other 20 bots that are spamming them aswell) Because no one can tell me that its an enjoyable experience to wait for other players to respond/having them ignore you. And the fact that the longer a league goes on the less interested high level people are to list low price items. (Because why sell 1-2 ex stuff when going out of the map to sell it in person takes longer than to make 1-2 ex by simply running the map) So it will also provide more lower cost items for other players. |

" Well then we better disable the current trading system because it gets abused by bots & scammers. Game is now SSF only. No more trading leagues ever. Thanks PL4t for saving all of us. |

" You keep acting this like it's an unsolved problem - look at EVE Online that has been running a giant AH as the core of the game for decades and somehow manages just fine. You also seem to act as if the current system isn't infested with bots and even easier to automate. I am genuinely tired of listing all the various ways that could be used to combat bots on an AH are are in place because they go totally ignored by the "NO AH!!!" crowd. Gold alone is a non trivial barrier for bots as it's not tradable easily and then there are captchas. Nevermind that your whole "Poor newbie" scenario is totally destroyed by a real AH where someone COULD list an item for 1ex and let the market bid on it to identify it's real cost. You'll ignore this though because I'm sure you've seen me post on this topic before and chose to ignore it then. |

Automated trading like an Auction house would only promote more market control. It's all a time to action that stops this from happening on every item in the game.
Bad Actors that are blatantly ignoring pings such as 10+ times should be delisted and blacklisted so others know they are an illegitimate seller. There needs to be a lot more reputation like systems involved with trading so people can filter by people who actually respond while stopping botters from purchasing off themselves to raise their rank. There are so many concerns with any kind of reputation system and an auction system. Manual trading makes it very labor intensive to try to control large portions of an economy. |

Been playing since 2014, is that too tourist for you?
Trading system is goddamn atrocious and the only thing that smooths it are the bots. The currency exchange system is a massive step in the right direction, I could see AH being it as well. One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.
