Yeap. Exactly. I'm not expecting to have golds rain down like pinata candy, but the bosses are incredibly overdone.

If GGG wanted to make a Dark Souls-like, they could have just said so straight up.

And for all the hype that Melee would be better, not seeing it. The Warrior need a lot of help.

The next league is in Feb and 3 months every 3 months after that. GGG made poe 2 for a different target audience and in that target audience (im one of them) the game is a massive success. Here's the thing, Buttercup, I'm not happy with PoE2 and I paid for the early access BECAUSE it's NOT PoE1. I'm not Blasty enough to be a PoE1 player, I was hoping PoE2 would start in a good state.

It might get into one, but it's not right now.

heres the thing too "buttercup" we all paid for EA, just because you pay for something doesnt mean it has to cater indivdually to you, espically when you where told it wasnt going to be another POE1. should of listened, the way you come across so "entitled" is pretty gross attitude, sums up society of today though...

no i dont actually, i expect them to make the game they envision. if i like it or not thats on me, so your very wrong there and thats the point i dont expect at all them to cater towards me, im just enjoying the game they put out plain and simple, its entitled folk shown in this thread that feel entitled and i hope your not catered too

POE2 is absolutely stunning to traverse (albeit very slowly) as the production quality is very high, and that aspect of the team knows what they are doing. It reminds me of the level of detail of Grim Dawn, and the environments are very atmospheric and seem alive with all the critters and great sound design. The shaders are well done and they didn't go overboard with them, the models are fantastic, the lighting is just right...but then I arrive at how I feel at the end of the day after playing this game, and I feel like I'm swimming in quicksand. No matter which methods I employ to feel like I'm progressing, I'm always ten steps behind, not even knowing it. I see the areas on the map with monster levels rising every time I level up, knowing full well that by taking my time farming, I'm only making the final areas harder on myself. I found POE1 to be relaxing and fun to scout around looking for currency and goodies, but I feel like I'm grinding to the bone in POE2 with little to show for it except heightened anxiety.

I bought the EA because I DON'T WANT TO PLAY PoE1. I get that you get off on feeling elitist, but some of us actually want a game that caters to as many people as possible.

Of course things will and should change, this is Early Access. I'm in here for the long haul, I doubt you are if you like the mess it's in now.

I feel the same. I actually have fun with the bosses and I haven't ran into one that totally brickwalled me yet (at most a few deaths). It's just the getting to the bosses that's so tedious. Every 5 meters there's a pack of 10 mobs that move at Mach 3 speed and you have to kite them back like 15 meters then walk back and they take forever to kill and the maps are gigantic to traverse with your molasses move speed. Sometimes I feel like I can run by them, but more often than not they're so fast that I'm just putting myself in a pincer and I'll get cornered and die.

I'm confident in my boss fighting ability and I largely enjoy doing them, but the 99% of the game between boss fights is way too slow.

your level of self entitlement is godly, just lol, im not being elitist at all, again my point stands you just are too entitled clearly to see the point as you litrally just doubled down on it, anyway, going back into game to prob die some more, and have fun increasing my knowledge ingame to likely or not so likely become a better player, this game does cater to many people just not all people and thats actually ok

and no your also very likely wrong, ill be here long term, its been the most fun ive had litrlly since the 2000 era and playing ultima online, litrally having a blast, cant wait to invest many many many more hours of my time, devs will be getting funs from me for cosmetics just as a thank you to boot!
