Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.
Also, body blocking feels really bad. Movement is already sluggish, roll animation is too long and it covers very little ground.
I tried the archer move skill where you jump back, but it's even slower, I normally get hit before it ends anyway and most of the time it gets caught in terrain (in tight spaces where you need it the most) |

" I agree it's become a skill game, but you also need good gear if you don't want to die in 1 hit and if you want to take less than 10m to kill a boss. And good gear is really lacking, not enough currency to craft, no good drops. Also, being a skill based game build experimentation is extremely necessary so you can adapt to the challenges you face, except respecing is prohibitively expensive. |

I feel what sums up PoE2 is if you're not using a meta build you're gonna have a hard time.

I, for one, think that the level of dificulty so far is great. It is just challenging enough to be meaningful and not mindless running forward, but not enough to be frustrating.
Granted, the nature of the build system here is such that you can make yourself a very weak character if you invest in the wrong way. For example I made a mistake investing a bunch of points early into Energy Shield, but as a result my damage fell off so hard that I started to struggle on bosses. Thankfully, POE 2 has an easy respec just for that, and it doesn't cost too much. If you are struggling - try making another build. Skill and passive gems drop a lot in Act 1, gold is also easy if you just keep picking up blues, so you should be able to farm whatever build if you are struggling. If you're struggling later in the game - I'd say pretty much the same applies. I would not want this game to become any easier, personally. Part of why I quit POE 1 at least on one occasion - is that it became so easy that I just had to run through the level and everything died in a screen radius around me. It just gets super boring that way. Just my two cents. |

It would not be so hard if the promised loot would actually drop. I was done with act 2 and was wearing 90% blue gear because nothing dropped in form of usable rares or crafting mats. Pair this with no crafting bench and lots of people sign up to suffer.

Agree with alot of the posts here, as it stands its way too much towards the direction of being way too tedious especially if you dont run a meta build, which takes the fun out of it ALOT.
Biggest issue here is gear and currency just dont drop. Also what the hell were you thinking GGG with zones fully resetting on death... |

" Would be hard as there is no meta Just have to know how to build and test things yourself. |

" Collect all blues and yellows, disenchant them, collect correct whites (that require your stat and seem to give the correct defensive stat) and upgrade them to blue and yellow. I'm in the middle of Act 2 and I am wearing mostly yellow stuff, but most of it I upgraded myself. And I still have like 30 Normal->Blue materials saved up. Don't forget to add additional stats to Magic and Rare item stages before upgrading. This game is clearly designed around you using crafting as part of the gearing process. |

" Testing is kinda hard when you need your respec gold to buy gear because monsters drop nothing. |
