Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.
I suggested a lower difficulty level on Reddit and was downvoted severely. I just thought easier bosses or not having them re-sapwn on death would be nice for those of use not enjoying 10 minutes fights where missing a reaction twitch moment would get us killed and then have to start over. Nice for people who enjoy that, or are older, or have arthritics/carpal tunnel.
Slower game play sounded great to me, except this hectic key pressing flood nonstop is not what I envisioned. Put us in our own league so we dont pollute the normal difficulty gamers experience. Win-win, right? |

I'm really disappointed playing POE 10+ years. Started with melee - gameplay no fun at all, rewards absolutely not worth time spent.
This is going to be a disaster for attracting new players Last edited by ziuteczek123456#5724 on Dec 7, 2024, 5:50:38 PM

" People sometimes read books. That's not hard. People watch movies and TV shows. That's not hard to do, either. Jerking off is also pretty easy. Playing a board game with the family is also not hard to do. We do these things not because they are hard, we do them because they are entertaining. And that makes them worth doing, even though they are NOT hard and anyone can do it. Last edited by L233233#4545 on Dec 7, 2024, 6:03:23 PM

the bosses are too strong. I cant get past the fucking hyana boss as a sorc, and now i am literally stuck, unless i go fart small mobs in the zone to gruelingly slowly level up to eek out some more power. im literally stuck and my character is basically bricked

I like hard games, I finished ER 14 times, it's fun, it's engaging, but it is fun because when you die most times you feel it was your fault, it was because you are bad. In PoE 2 it doesn't feel that it was your fault, it feels like it was unfair. All the bosses I found were the same: 10 okay skills and 1 that always hit kills you and it is a pain in the ass to dodge. 1 skill bosses are not fun, it's just lazy.
I like the idea of an isometric dark souls, but PoE 2 didn't do it right. No Rest for the Wicked is far better at this. |

Yes, thing are way too overtuned.
I feel exhausted from Act 1. The bossfights with adds are especially bs (why do they spawn so much and with that much hp??) I'm sad. |

+1 OP.
Every Trashmobfight feels like survive or die. So many white! mobs going after me not my minions. Running in cycles like in PoE1 with minions to wait for the kill i know. But in PoE 2 i have to run in cycles cause waiting for revive of my minions. End of Act 2 i ragequit. Hate dodging, hate Bossfights even in PoE 1 (i am more playing a mapper) and every trashmobfight feels bad and clunky. Not dying a lot in PoE 2 so far (act 1 boss first try) but Archnemesis meets Ruthless meets crit, dogde, die. I want to like PoE 2 but at this stage, no, not a little. Any players who have fun with PoE 2: good for you! |
