Established by the market and design of ARPG being completely reliant on RNG for gear. POE1 started like this. It changed. D4 even started more similar to this. It changed. The fundamental power of gear and RNG nature run directly counter to making a hard game that starts "hard" in the first acts. There is a reason souls games do not use RNG in gear (or map design) and don't make gear so overwhelming in character power.
Add in this is a live service game that needs people to return every league to buy MTX, the campaign being difficult is antithetical to such and why live service games almost universally make the early game easy. There is a reason Ruthless in PoE1 has virtually no playerbase, while non ruthless has seen 10 years of player growth.
You still have POE1, it is not closed and wouldn't
What are you looking hare - in the different game?
They have already admitted to cutting the number of people working on PoE1 down to 10. they are not a huge studio and studios far larger put live service games on maintenance mode when the newer one comes out.
I find the game fun, but flawed with far too much out of your control for the souls-like experience they said they wanted. They have said they need people to get to endgame to hook them. Difficult campaign runs counter to this. They have said they want handcrafted experience, rng gear runs counter to this. They want it to be a live service game yet history of live service ARPGs, including POE1 show that a difficult beginning is not conducive to new players. The entire gameplay loop and reoccurring leagues is also not conducive to a difficult campaign. They obviously want PoE1 people in PoE2 with the whole supporter get in and that they want MTX from PoE1 to work in PoE2

Just a word for the "skill issue" and "git gud" crowd : you're right! If you're really good the game feels much better. But catering solely to that audience is not economically sustainable.
So if GGG sticks to this approach, you will be happy to enjoy the game among yourselves until it very quickly dies. Simple as that (idiots).
Some of them are actually encouraging people to go play something else because POE 2 is not for them! You have to be a special kind of idiot to so explicitly saw the branch you're sitting on.
You can’t cater to everyone who wants everything at the same time. They’ve built a masterpiece of a game that caters to a specific audience and is exactly what I’ve been wanting for years. And if you won’t be happy until you’ve ruined that, then yeah, get good or go play something else.

The nerve of people who want to troll the message boards of a game they don’t like to ruin it for people who do like it. Last Epoch is completely ruined because it’s so easy. Everything else about that game would be forgivable if it weren’t mind numbingly easy and boring to play.

At least in E.A. the entire point of posting to the Feedback forums is if there is an element of the game you don't like to point that out.
Once that is done it's up to the Devs to pull archive data to see if the issue is real, to get a feel for the reason of the issue, to see if the issue raises to the level of something that should be fixed, and then implement a set of fixes that are consistent with the vision for the game.
Assuming people are "trolling" is likely the wrong way to take things .. Assuming instead that maybe there is a perspective / facts you don't have OR possibly that the other person missed a couple of things that would make their life easier is likely the right way to take things.
In my own personal opinion there's one SINGLE [but possibly the most central mechanic of all] that I have an issue with and I'd like to see adjustments made. While I don't mind more loot for example I'd trade all of the other things just to get my one issue addressed.
Note: Having GGG address my one issue may make the game "too easy" for you. Sometimes this is a zero-sum-game and it's up to the Devs to decide who loses and by how much as they try to implement their vision of the game.

Faster always feels good in gaming. Slow is for the people drowning in the past. Automation is always the goal we wish to achieve in the end-game build. GGG needs to readdress their game design philosophy to the crowd and clarify that Poe2 was never intended for fast-pace thrilling experience from the start to the end. People will then move on.

The reason why they're trolls is because they keep moving the goalpost, deny evidence that their point is incorrect, and knowingly make false claims even after being shown evidence that they were incorrect, not because they are voicing feedback.

Oddly enough I feel the same way with my particular "one issue" with the game. When I've brought it up and referred to psychometric tests [science] backing up my point of view I was told repeatedly "skillz issue" or "git gud" when the science says that is NOT a reasonable expectation in the context in question.
Unfortunately I suspect I'm in a sufficiently low minority demographically that not enough people share my issues OR they've already quit the game. I'm sure it's "some" of the latter but my sense of the issue is more the former.
Note: It's not that I can't play any ARPG. I'm fine on D1, D2, SSF Rutheless PoE1 and some others but my one issue in this game simply isn't focused on by the other games -- at least not to this degree.

You know what else was glowing and flying high and praised for its difficulty? Helldivers 2. Then they focused too much on the keeping the difficulty and it fell off a cliff (the Sony account debacle came after it fell of a cliff and just added insult to injury).
When was Helldivers 2 praised for difficulty? Seems like we live in parallel universes mate.
"
Reviews also seems to ignore the reality of the PoE2 gameplay league that will be the same as PoE1's, which is get through the campaign to endgame so you can farm (devs even admit they need people to reach endgame to keep them). A long difficult campaign will kill this type of loop.
We'll see how EA progresses. Right now it feels slower because it's new and everybody needs to accumulate knowledge and familiarize themselves with the game. After that the campaign will be as fast as PoE 1.
"
They do the typical thing of just look at the now rather than think about the future for a game that has to pull in money for its entire lifetime. If this was just a one and done game and not a live service, the difficulty early would be fantastic, but as a live service, requiring repeated runs through the campaign, it is a bad approach.
Maybe GGG should hire you so you could enlighten them. ;)

They did this and knew there would be a group that doesn't like dodging, hitting and concentrate a little more.... I'm happy with the change and I hope they keep it up, good luck to the rest, they'll have other games to play.
