POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

They already knew about this issue, POE 1 has been having it for months.
I disabled vt-d in the bios on my motherboard, and for the first time, I played all day without any freeze.

VT-d, or Intel Virtualization Technology..

plz fix this issue..... we cant play the GAME
Everytime I start the game it freezes like 2-3 times before even I get to login screen. And it freezes way more than 5 times when loading into game... This needs to be fixed ASAP, please GGG.

POSSIBLE FIX

So I found this idea online somewhere and so far it has been working great. Navigate to the Steam folder where POE2 is installed. Should look like:

Drive Letter\Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2

Find the PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe file and right click. Go to Properties. Go to Compatability tab. Check box run as Admin and Check box run in compatability mode for Windows 8. Hit Apply and OK.

Haven't had one crash yet since this change. Hopefully it works for you all. Best of luck!

Omg this worked... I used to disable core 0+1 every time I open the game and disable multi threading on every loading screen. Considerably dropped cpu temp as well. Thank you so much!!

This is unacceptable, it drives me crazy I had to reset my pc at least 20 times already. Complete PC hard crash, no response from anything, on 80% of loading screens. From character select to new areas and portals to town.

Recently started a merc Witchhunter and i've got 27 hours on it, not 1 complete PC freeze ever since i began disabling multithreading before engaging with loading screens.

That's why it's called a bandaid fix. All GGG has to do is push out a patch for both PoE 1 and PoE 2, that disables multithreading on loading screens
