im tired of spending time to prepare content to run

Most offers are price fixers. The others are doing content they can't exit from and it is not possible to stop and say so (you stop, you die). Then there are others who are afk yet the trade site doesn't say so. Finally, there are those who already sold their stuff but it still appears in the trade window. Granted, the situation is not as bad as poe.trade but it still exists
Solution:

Run the nodes that gives you lots of extra content until you have enough to run the juiced maps without trading much xD When out of juice either go back to those nodes or use the wealth to pay premium on the juice items. If you keep trying to buy them at min price you will spend waaaaay more time than neccessary and you probably lose currency compared to paying a bit more for them from people that holds higher stock. And no I am not talking about using the godawful discord. You can easily search for bulk trades on the site. Just pick the options further down with high stocks and you are good to go. You could even filter out the lowest prices as those are usually fixers or low-stock sellers.

So as you can see. You _CAN_ play the way you say you want to you just choose not to since the only "fun" in your eyes is to run the most juiced content at lowest possible price.

I don't like juicing, probably because I only run builds that aren't designed for mapping (summoner), so my profit/hour is going to be abysmal compared to some Tornado Shot speedfreak Ranger. I hate the tedium of having to contact multiple different people for scarabs and compasses. And finally, I dislike the gamble. Spending maybe 100c+ on a map in the hopes you'll get a bigger payout than what you invested in? No thanks, I'd rather just buy Blight Maps and Expedition Logbooks. Low risk, high reward.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

spend an hour to buy scarabs and sextants

you're set for a week

how is this a problem?

right since i have currency to buy compasses and scarabs that cost divines upon divines for a week :D

nice joke
you probably missed the point of my post
the issue is that before i can start "playing" the game i need to prepare lots of stuff ...
in other games i dont need to do that. played black desert online
i literally grinded 8 hours straight because i just could and i only paused because my inventory was full.

if you don't have money to buy scarabs and sextants, what preparation is there to be made? just alc maps and go?

i hate rolling maps since Scarabs got introduced. they moved every interesting bit of map content to Scarabs and called it progress

back then you had to do Syndicate to get trickle of scarabs every once in a while so they did not balance around it - but Sextants.. yep, that they balanced around and nerfed everything into the ground balancing for sextant-blocking influence pushing 0.001%. it was so _fun_ for everyone else

Atlas luckily changed that and nowadays you can easily pick Stream of Consciousness (it should be located next to Atlas start, so it doesnt put one side of Atlas at an advantage) and just f-it all, while still getting lots of fun moments

and if you want something completely hassle free - Delve and Heists PRINT MONEY and you can run it all white and not really worry about 'wasting content'

Imagine thinking that making players read 4 to 8 lines of intentionally shuffled up text per 2 minutes worth of map is a good idea? Or when rolled in bulk, reading 4 to 8 lines times 8 or 10 maps (using CuteDog's ancient crane technique) for ~15-30 minutes of mapping or whatever you happen to run them at. Even when you're good at scanning them this is tedious and fatiguing. You might think I'm bad at scanning, but I'm not, I just still hate it. I hate it because its pulling me out of the core loop and forcing the meta game of map rolling on me.

Lets say you roll 10 maps at a time; IMAGINE SCANNING UP TO EIGHTY FUCKING LINES OF SHUFFLED META INFORMATION. and then expand that out to ultra sweaty requirements GGG designed into the game, so parsing 80 lines every 8 or 20 or 30 minutes, for 6 or 8 hours of mapping a night that is expected to progress to any degree.
.

Regex searches really do make this way less painful - https://poe.re/#/maps

Fill up a tab with maps, set your search filter, reroll maps that aren't highlighted

y everything is pefect. like having to use your sextants every 4 maps. I am sure everyone loves it. having maximum 10 stack scarab in map device, so interesting. maximum 30k sulphite or so, fascinating. everyoone loves having to get out of delve mindset to go get sulphite in maps instead of stacking 300k sulphite.

why even discuss this perfect game

If you guys aren't willing to prepare then you aren't going to be rewarded.

End of story.

If you aren't willing commit to it; You don't deserve it. Mean while I scarab the fuck out of everything currency rains botherhood rains like candy.

Your response is a "git gud" non sequitur? Ofc everyone knows you have to deal with the fiddly micro to benefit. Why even respond if you don't understand the feedback being given?

Map rolling was the design choice of some guys fresh out of uni that was decided on and never again examined or improved by those guys after many years of learning, and experience with game design. Surely they can't possibly think map rolling is still good game design?

Man I fondly remember stopping every few minutes between Baal runs to fiddle with currency micromanage a few minutes worth of gameplay and parse multiple lines of jumbled text. So good.

Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.
