What Happened with Items

Players have been saying we reduced drops by 90% but in reality, that type of difference could only be true in the most extreme situations involving Beyond, Delirium and Incursion stacked with party quantity, rarity, sextants and scarabs and a dedicated MF culler (peak efficiency of every juice mechanism that exists). Every other player is unaffected on average. For example when playing Breach, the reduction in currency items found is around 7% (when comparing 3.19.0d to 3.18.1f). In 100% Delirium maps, the difference hits 17%. In Incursion and regular non-league content, you'll find 25% more.

This reads like a 'We did what we did and you are to stupid to understand it." post.
It DOES NOT matter what the numbers for yellow mobs vs red mobs vs archnem mods was and how it is better now in your eyes. 99% of your player base is telling you that the raw currency drops are GONE and you're acting like its stronger than before. Path of exile was the number one game because of the fact that you could do what you wanted to make your build better.. If you love delve but hate metamorph, you could delve all day, get currency and sell fossils, then buy catalysts from someone that does love metamorph. If you wanted to corner the market on legion emblems you spec into legion and go to town.. You had endless options.. And the real kicker is you JUST created a better system to make that dream come true (Atlas passives). So if you didnt like just one thing you could just spec what you wanted and burn thru maps. The point is you HAD options. Now you do not. You claim that when you get to 4 mod archnems you will see a huge reward... But how can you get there? You have to farm heist or expedition. You literally lose money investing in maps currently and that is just sad. Furthermore when you do get one of these archnem loot explosions sometimes its just a ton of crap. (6 stacks of whetstones or 7 crimson jewels wow). I'm sorry but running 20 alch and go yellow maps and walking away with 2 chaos and not even 20 alchs to cover the cost is not bad rng. That is a flaw in the game. Please please bring back the ability to make currency in ALL of the systems of the game, maps included because right now you flat out cannot. A casual gamer that logs on and runs 5 maps and is poorer for it, is not going to continue to grind out that character they are going to quit. This is the BEST game out there. It is a game that you can make a character one way, then completly make another character another, and keep setting your sights on either making more unique characters, spending more money to make the character better, or build a character that can do a certain thing perfectly. But now you have removed the options and made the grind feel like just that, a grind. Now someone that normally would try to make 10 characters and really experience every facet of the game, maybe make 2. If the highest caliber of player (the content creaters and the 1%s) are quitting, what chance does a casual player have? None, because the market will be so poor that it wont be worth the time. Please fix this yesterday.
A well-written apology, and quite nice to read. Now you just need to fix the numerous actual problems in the gameplay and loot. I hope you manage to do so within the next couple of weeks.

Hey Chris, these explanations are great! Now I understand everything, we are the same testing group that is working on the balance for the hard mod, they just didn’t tell us about it. Not to tell us about it, this is of course your mistake, but we forgive you (I at least). Listen Chris, I want to ask you to give us (the players) a client that is not connected to the servers. It's just that since you and your team have decided to interfere so actively with us playing the game, then with the help of this client we can at least play this game with cheats, since you are actively against us playing fair

This League won't survive " a couple of weeks" in this state. And the post reads like they are not fixing anything again and letting it die like expedition.
Go work on 3.20, horrible decision-making on 3.19. Gl tho
I cannot believe you would put "find 50 divine orbs from a single mob" as a good example of finding stuff. Yall have turned your game into d3 loot gobin hunting on TFT. Really an astounding feat.

Chris and GGG if you ask me, i liked all the changes you did with Kalandra league. Game felt challenging and many things in game had a purpose. Your game had actual gameplay.
Its true that i really was paying attention in combat and learning what skill monster has instead of pressing one click, extinct 10ths of screens, not understanding what my character is capable of just because i copied a guide with billion dps and having a loot pinjata that will be ignored 99% of the time. Felt like i was playing the game i started supporting on your early days. Now the part i believe you did "wrong" is that you accumulated so much powercreep over the years that with one spike patch you cannot avoid the massive backlash from the "well spoiled" community you have build over the years. They've been tought to play your game like that. You want to make your game engaging but for them the "one click lootpinjata festival" is normal. When they think Path of Exile they expect this. I only hope that this was just a preview of the future of what PoE 2 will be in terms of difficulty and loot and dont give up on your decisions from the people who say "i uninstall, game is dead, to late for changes now i quit" after 4 days of playing the changes. If they have such reactions and behavior and they want to leave they were never "yours" in first place. You have at least two years until PoE 2 and thats at least 8 big patches to make it happen bit by bit. Bring them the Path of Exile you wanted to be. I feel like the high-end of the Archnemesis mods stacking should be reduced in both offence and defence, so that we don't run into situations where we're clearing a map just fine, but then run into a single monster that can (will) repeatedly kill us in little to no time at all - on the same map!
My problem with currency rewards is the same; the high-end is too high, but in the case of dropped currency, the low-end is also too low. Seeing videos and screenshots of other players finding dozens and dozens of divines from a single monster is not motivating to me; quite the opposite, in fact - it very much lowers my desire to play the game, as it makes me think there's a problem with the core reward system. TL;DR: I find the relative power between Archnemesis monsters jarring, and the peaks and valleys of rewards much too far apart. Both of these, especially combined, make the game much less fun for me. I prefer constant average loot over this "hunt for the lootgoblin" lootsystem, but sure i can understand it is hard to balance around the wide spread opinions and demands this community has including reddit, maybe GGG needs to balance how much they pay attention to each part of the community as those who scream the loudest are not the majority either.
