besides all the quant and rarity stuff...

the currency value change is...

i got my exalted orb hoodie just a few months ago. since its not worth anything anymore, where is my FREE divine orb hoodie?
The analogy here is:

The casino says "we're moving all the slot machine payouts to a progressive payout, you won't get anything most of the time but when you do it will be super-awesome!".

I want my rewards from the slot machine, not the progressive lotto I might win once a league if I'm really lucky.

How is it fair that someone spending countless hours perfecting and training to do precisely that, push the game to its limits, should get the same level of rewards as someone haphazardly throwing alchs and a scarab in the map device? I, for one, feel that if you want to spend 16+ hours a day min-maxing every little aspect of the game, you should be rewarded.

The articles accuracy is scary to say the least..
There are client programs out there to detect whether or not the map has a Solaris mod rare when you open map. How does this new system absolutely screw over 99% of the player base.

Archnemesis needs to be tuned down at least another 20% and should NOT be allowed to spawn in pinnacle boss fights (Kitava, Belfry) <===========

Harvest crafts you removed need to be added back.
And what was wrong with the previous way items dropped?
Why are you afraid of letting people do things like that in a PvE game?

Please just roll the patch back and restore the game.

A lot of league content was spawning way too many rare monsters compared to the rest of the game. In line with Philosophy Two, and general player concerns about being overwhelmed by too many hard Archnemesis monsters in some encounters, we reviewed most league content in Path of Exile with a goal of making the rate of encountering rare monsters consistent.

Good that you acknowledge this. But:

I hope you do realize that the problem is not only the amount of modifiers but also the amount of individual rare monsters that cause heavy aurastacking in Heist,Ritual,Harbinger,Blight,Ulrimatum,etc.

If you do not reduce the amount of rare enemies there then there as well be no impactful change at all.

Maybe you will reduce amount of rares but for me it does not read that way from what you have written here. Hopefully i'm wrong and league content is now more bearable , so guess we have to wait and see.

Maybe they restart the league in some hours? Would be so funny to finally be able to play 3.19^^
As expected, you buff the loot twice, fix a bunch of issues, Chris comes out and says sorry like 10 times and these guys are still dumb enough to say ‘game is bad, I’m quitting’.

Maybe that’s good, let those toxic, clueless people quit. These clowns hear a streamer say 90% quant reduction and they go around repeating it like parrots. Whenever there’s any kind of change or nerf and your forums and Reddit gets filled with hate threads encouraging personal harassment, you know there’s REALLY something wrong with your community…

I hope the vocal minority of these haters and complainers actually quit, so we can enjoy our REGULAR updates to our FREE game, without people crying all the time…
The described changes sound super reasonable and as a step forward for the game.

While in the reality it is ultra frustrating to run 100s of maps not finding the "right" coimbination of archnemesis modifiers on a rare monsters to get any decent loot. Normal and even magic monsters now feel as a filler monsters that can never drop anything significant.

I would say ok let's play a slot machine simulator called "hunt rare monsters" if the crfating has not been deleted out of the game. At least return keep prefixes/suffixes and make metamods cost exalted orbs again. Crafting is a huge part of the game and it is non-existent now, not only it makes players have lesss to do in the game, but also denies us a reasonable self-made access to the endgame.

Big thanks if GGG ppl actually read our posts here.
