Internal communication cannot always be perfect. Game development is one of the hardest jobs out there and people who have not done it cannot say it isnt without trying it themselves.
Chris! Know that there are many players who still believe in you and ggg. We know your passion and your lifes dedication to the game and we know your intention is never to kill the fun or destroy the future of your own lifes work. !!!!!! All the people that said you should step down are the people who have pissed in the well they have been drinking from for the past few years which you and your team have built. !!!!!! |

I respect Chris for taking responsibility as the lead developer, but I'm wondering how that is going to actually manifest. What is going to happen? How is he going to show that he's taken responsibility for this?
This is only one of many apologies and explanations of "what went wrong" written by Chris, but there's no real change afterwards. Chris stepping down is NOT the answer, but something has to change internally. I want to continue playing PoE, and have fun playing it, and be hyped for new league-starts. But it's difficult to be excited when the playstyle of the game is flipped on its rear, and what I've grown to love over the years changes in one day. | |

I understand the idea behind making rare mobs more difficult and rewarding. But you guys went insanely overboard tuning them. Like broke the tuning knob off the tuning box. Rare mobs are worse than bosses including the big bosses. Ive seen rare mobs fights that take longer than sirus. Maybe there were things in the game that were insane but hell that's what made the game fun for us. Not saying go back to how things were but understand you removed that fun and replaced it with pain. Then doubled down on that pain by removing some harvest crafts that were really important to us. Also got me excited tainted currency was coming back but then nerfed it as well. It's like you gave us a shiny balloon and in the same motion took out your nerf needle and popped it in front of our faces.

I had no major problems with the loot this league. Harvest is in a sad state and some mobs are too tanky, that's it.

You guys can do so much better than this. The community streamers and content creators have been addressing every thing that went wrong with such details and making good suggestions to improve. Please, take a closer look at what they have to say in reggards to loot, crafting, archnemesis etc.

Why did it come to this? Why the game is now a casino? I never won a single lottery in my life. Not gonna go the same route here. Super dissappoint with whorver came up with this terrible design when almost everything about the loots were fine. Sigh. Guess I'm out.
