The Self Found League

I would like to add 2c to this thread.

I stopped playing PoE, was a 78 mara at the time. I played a LOT when open beta started (12-16hrs/day). Needless to say i got burned out. What is keeping me from coming back and playing either of my chars is trading.

I have to trade since not doing so is gimping me in so many ways and i do not like the feel of "wasting" my time by not trading. Also, i am not enjoying trading at all.

In self-found league i would not have this feeling since trading would be out of the picture.

Hopefully, this league will be out at some point and i can get back to PoE.

You are, of course, free to decide your own path, but I don't think an effort to spam the support email will do anything to promote desirable developer attention to the suggestion. Besides, I would assume (perhaps incorrectly) that the support staff is not the group that would have purview to give the thumbs up or thumbs down to this idea. Again, though, I could be wrong on that count.

Either way, I won't be emailing support about it as I believe GGG are already more than aware of the suggestion and they either will or won't act upon it.

The devs are absolutely aware of this thread--chances are, they have all read it. Nagging support won't add anything.

I'd really like a self-found league.

Trading in this game is pretty much mandatory but at the same time there's nothing that makes trade easy, so it's basically just a mandatory hassle.

My only issue with Self Found League is that it requires two new leagues (Hardcore and Default).

I described a similar idea called Account Bound Mode (ABM) that is 100% compatible with current leagues. Check it out:

You are sapping the pleasure of playing these game for us who like a challenge.

I would play again if this were added.. Right now I'm just waiting for patches to see if there's anything interesting.
