From 148k to 66k in two weeks
The Lab has always been trash. Too bad the community didn't push hard enough to remove it.

" This, retention has been better. Expedition also wasn’t very great week one and they re-iterated it and beyond Gwen issues with bases it was put in a great place. This hyperbolic Reddit regurgitation gets us nowhere but pushes the developers away from communicating with us properly. |

And from 90k to 86k in half a week. Numbers already seem to be stabilizing.
People put way too much stock in launch numbers. Launch players are pretty much always abnormally high for any game, which soon dissipates after. Just ask D2R. How the league is a month from now compared to now is far more illuminating than how the league is now compared to launch. Launch is mainly just about marketing. |

" The most hilarious cope in POE. SSF is not harder. This league HC first 100 was even SSF. The game is brain dead easy with leftover league mechanics, certain skills only requiring nicely rolled rares, and crafting to build something end game. SSF just means you have less build diersity, not less build power. SSF is no way objectively or subjectively harder. Just less variety. Oh and I've mapped in SSFHC and I got bored out of my mind because the second you want to try something niche or different you have restrictions. Also to further shatter your delusion, it's not even true SSF since you can storage gear and keep it on death. Turn down your copium a bit. Last edited by poeGT#1333 on Nov 1, 2021, 12:07:34 PM

" No, that's not stabilising, that's the bounce you get at the weekend because a proportion of players can only spend time on weekends to play the game. One day later and that 'stable' 43% decrease dropped to 48% decrease. To be fair though, this game does not have a stable player base, every league is a spike followed by a graduated decline so it's the rate of decline that is worth reviewing. Day two for this and the last league demonstrated 2 in 10 players not coming back to the game after launch, compared with other recent leagues that are typically around 1 in 10. Losing almost half your players in only 11 days is not a great outcome, although I expect that GGG typically makes most of its revenue in that first 9 day period anyway. Better performing leagues usually reach this point around the 20 to 25 day mark so I find that to be reasonably significant. Ultimately though what matters is whether the revenue is acceptable to GGG and whether they still have confidence that this direction change for the game is sustainable. |

" Bruh I dont know which dark corner of twitch you came from, but better go back to it, I feels like you ran out of "copium". If you think not being able to trade with people does not make game harder you clearly dont know enough about this game. |

" I dropped about 100€ on this game my first league 3.13 because i really liked it (stash tabs + full armor set). Unfortunately the devs proceeded to ruin it intentionally afterwards. Supporter packs have nice MTX but i'm not gonna buy it if the game's not fun. |

I was really pissed by 3.15. This league on the whole is pretty good except for the crazy decision by GGG not to use smart loot on the corrupted drops and to not adjust the downsides of the Scourging to make them less punishing.
If these two things were done I would give the league an A because I like the QOL, I like the Atlas and I like the league mechanic (how it plays). Last edited by MrWonderful99#4612 on Nov 1, 2021, 11:35:44 PM
