I've been playing around with an idea I had that gives more damage, more survive (by fitting another aura in), and more power charge uptime, which is this:

The gloves are actually just for more DPS, but basically the above setup frees up the glove slot.

I use battlemage's cry with Assassins mark (which lets you use a 20/20 etc).
Echo's is also optional, it's just a ton of dps, but I think basically with 90% reser corrupt and a couple nodes on tree, you can fit another 50% aura into the build (like determination)

You can do the above with frostbite instead, I just happen to have a frostbite on hit Circle of Guilt.

I like this because it frees up gloves entirely and you get a super defensive +life/chaos/suppress, or go even more glass canon with Admirals Arrogance, or even Atziris gloves that have huge crit and huge armor.

In your case, you really need to get the Kaom's roots so you can drop unstoppable and get undeniable. The gloves help you get crit when you get accuracy. That's a quick fix for that specifically.

Battlemage's Cry also gives a nice chunk of crit rate too, worth weaving in (especially if you use Whispers of Doom and have a dual curse setup!) :)

Check it out, I went ahead and just connected all of my spells to Battlemage's Cry, so I could toss Cast When Damage Taken gem and now the spells pop off when I'm smacking mobs and they don't have a huge mana multiplier.

Now that I think about it I may 6 link it and put animate weapon in there, to give my Rallying Cry a boost with some allies. I can toss the lifetap connected to my leap slam to make room.
Well neither animate weapon or summon raging spirit worked well with battlemage's cry. I have an extra gem slot to play around with, I'd like to ideally get some allies out to boost my rallying cry somehow. Otherwise the buff is only from its exertion interacting with overexertion.

It's worth noting that this will always apply the relevant spells one at a time, in a rotation order if I'm remembering right.

So it might do frosbite on one hit, then frost bomb the next, then blood rage etc etc.

So far because of this I've preferred to keep my BM cry setup to just frosbite so that it applies to everything I touch at all times!
