This game is free? Yes. But I would prefer to pay $70 once and have everything what I should have for comfort playing, like stash tabs, gender choice and nice armor and weapon not looking like shit without mtx. Not just $40 for this and $50 for that, and more and more and more. to be true we payed totally much more in total for this game than they asked for complete D3.

Despite being a free game, I feel like genders should be part of the core game, especially in 2020.

I have been happy to support them, but GGG is greedy AF.

I mostly feel indifferent about it. It does seem really off it not being part of the game, it doesn't affect anything at all though.

The much bigger thing is having different visuals for each character, which they said they'll be doing.

With how the game is you can already play anything as any gender. Ranger can do melee and bows equally well. Shadow can do melee and spells equally well. Templar and Witch for summoning. And Marauder and Duelist can bow do bows good, it'd take a lot for spells, that's already covered by Shadow though.

Edit: Can't wait to see the new ascendancy hairs. This game has been in desperate need of a messy bearded Templar.

Heh. Trust me, Puddles - you cannot play 'anything' as either gender. The fact that you can cover most broad archetypes with multiple different characters doesn't really help when you're super jazzed about a certain Ascendancy/unique item combo you'd like to build around, but it's a Marauder Ascendancy and you just don't dig playing that goober.

$10/character or $50 for all seven. I'm calling it.

Edit... and no... I wouldn't buy one. I don't give a fig what my character looks/sounds like.

I think that gender lock classes are a mistake because people like me stop playing or wont play at all at certain classes because of gender... Im male and i want to play like one... I will never play a ranger or witch just for that simple reason so in the long run do you preffer gender lock "characters" just for the sake of lore ( no sense in this particular game) or more players enjoying themselves.

I for one am thrilled they are adding shape shifting in PoE 2. As a werewolf when I get done with a nightly hunt during a full moon I always wanted to unwind by playing some PoE but never could since playing as a werewolf was not an option before.
