For the love of god, please remove Labyrinth from game.

Labyrinth has been the bane of many players for many leagues now, causing massive outcry among the community and generally just being an annoying pain in the arse. Making Labyrinth obligatory is insanity and I avoid doing Labyrinth whenever possible (with the exception of ascendancy because I don't get a choice).

I can't be alone in wishing this boring ass piece of sh* content to disapper forever.

You are defintely not alone. Recently, we were discussing this topic in that thread.

Amongst the suggestions was to allow portals in labyrinth or to create a special mode, easier than the original labyrinth, just giving the ascendancy points without any other rewards.

The number of players not liking the labyrinth is fairly small (but they're very vocal)...

Personally I belong to the other group. The lab is different content from the main game, which is always nice, and spending an hour to get the ascendancies is nothing...

If GGG removed it, the people wanting to bitch would just find something else to bitch about, and the people liking the lab would have less content to play...

More like the other way around.

You like the lab until you disconnect when you've just killed izaro for the third time and are in the treasure room lol. That thing has a way to bring the worst out of players.

Let me refrase that: Lab is fine for enchants and loot.


Getting the ascendancies from the lab doesn't fit the game as it is now.
Those should really be gained in some other way, for example from Kitava or Pantheons.

Anyway, if we are going to see any changes regarding this I would guess it's with 4.0

It is constructed as it is so you can't just death-rush your way to ascendancies/enchantments. The ascendancies and enchantments are gated content requiring you to have a survivable character. This is a pretty good principle.

Come up with a solution that does do that in a better way, and I'm sure GGG would be willing to listen. So far however, nobody has been able to come up with a better solution...

Until then, keep it as is...

Getting the ascendancies from the Lab IS the point. It's called a trial of ascension for a reason. You want your powerful passives handed on a silver platter, some of us don't.

Hated Lab when I first started playing, because it's hard. Also played Vaal Pact Abyssus + Seething life flask.

Loving it now. It's a lot of fun, it has a great atmosphere and actually feels exciting to play. Also, getting the reward of ascending still feels very good.

You have to put in some effort for your extra powerful passives. This is great - games like WoW are dying for a reason, because everything is too easily attainable.

Bullsh@t! Do you know why?
Because you can hire people to kill Izaro for you. They will also get the golden key, which is obligatory gated by a trap room.
Therefore, the Lab does NOT require any survivability.

Even if you are super bad with traps - take 5 antibleed flasks and use golem with vitality aura.

Lab is a bad design. It does not feet to this game.

There were leagues when I had lab-farmer caracters.
Yes, it can be very profitable but I hate it anyway.
