The reason why i dont run Matermind is BC its a pure cluster*F* and stright up just a spamboss and i dont like that kind of gameplay.

The league is overall realy good and ive enjoyed it alot, well done beside Mastermind boss =)
The only way to complete 40 Research stashes is to block the other Safehouses and bring Korell, Vagan, Elreon and I don't remember the last one... xD Who are the only ones that give you stashes.

I decided to go with those Syndicates challenges first and then, farm the safehouses.

I did Mastermind once, I think it was on 18 december and never did her again. The fight is too long, messy, laggy and resets your chart. She is not hard to beat but messy and the rewards, not enough.

After that, I started farming It That Fled in Research and Scarabs in Intervention.

I don't like Scarabs for Niko.

The league was fun but I think you can improve some points.

Betrayal was fun for a while but gets so repetitive(Starts with H and ends with Bridge).. Looking forward to the next league though!

Mastermind fight is poorly designed and I'm actually bit surprised you haven't updated it as you surely have a lot of analytics data to conclude that people skip it.

Saying it's being skipped because of difficulty is really cheap. People reading these forums are invested players and often payable customers, don't offend them. They know why they don't run it.

Don't turn Blizzard please. Just say it did not work and you'll design something better next time. This game is great overall and core gameplay loop with new masters is very solid. Betrayal league elements aren't though.

Finally, get rid of that stupid XP death penalty on softcore. There is no design reason for it to exist and your product managers should tell you by now that it lowers your total income because noobs and semi-core people stop playing game at early 90 levels as the game is no longer fun for them.


Let non-HC types of players enjoy the game rather than try forcing them into HC behaviours in late game. I can assure you that these players who value thrill and challenge over anything else, are already playing HC.

Agreed with several posters here. Stop breaknecking unfinished content every 3 months. There is not a chance to properly enjoy the content unless you happen to be youngster at school or streamer.

Focus on quality, get some QoL, balance game, allow more red map drops (another stupid artificial gate that punishes players who can't play for hours every day), skip one league and do just this.

Same counts for the atlas where you have to find the same maps over and over again. If you don´t find a required map, go to trades and try over an hour that someone maybe moves and sells it for an alch.

Do i have to find recipes over and over again after a single use?

It would make more sense if the single atlas missions would stay open after you unlock the map once, additional there should drop blank shards that can be upgradet to change the maps to magic or rare for a single time, this way you could play maps you like as often as you want and can upgrade them whenever you think it´s cool.

The atlas currently feels too closed if you don´t play 24/7, i often ran into situations where i needed a map but did not own, find or could trade it cause nobody replied.

And an endgame that relies on rng dropluck is no good idea, it locks you out here and then and that kills fun. Even D2 LoD kept players for years and their act 5 endgame was completly open.

Boring is if you get locked out, not if you get full access after a while.

The Mastermind fight is just too full of things to avoid with a boss that has far too much hp. Granted, I probably shouldn't be trying to run it with a 5 link build. 39% More damage with extra perks and that unique lightning and corpse explosion chest would probably make a lv 79 Mastermind go much faster. But it's just too frustrating when it makes Breachlords look like white mobs.

I have yet to land on the 24 challenge pack. Between inability to kill the Mastermind, Rin Yuushu refusing to appear in Research Safehouses while in that group, and finding a Lich proving to be impossible, I'm still trying to push that last challenge.

I hope you guys look into increasing the accessibility of the game in future leagues though. What's the point of a lot of the stuff if only 10% of players even can do it? I've done the no lifer method with constant trading and gotten to 37 before deciding I wanted my life back before, but when I work a 40 hour week and want to do other games too it just feels so stacked against me just getting the six link setup mandatory to create imaginary 'skill'.

I had everyone I wanted in research and went to do the mastermind.

Never again.
I am never doing that fight again. Waste of time. Waste of experience. Waste of my safehouse progress. I honestly could not believe that GGG had screwed me that hard.

Jeah like allways most people quit instantly or torture themself to do 24/30 challenges.

GGG how do you never see that the challenges are to rediculous or the league content is just to inaccesable and gated, don't you want people do experience your hard work you put into the game?

If i were on your side i would lossen up the grinding screw a lot so people think it fun to do the leage challenges instead of knowing that after work path of exiles league means just more work. :/
