What people do with their money is their business. It just so happens that some people can afford more than others, and that is fine. You can express your concerns over it, but in a civil and constructive way.

Not a monk more like a man sent from heaven to fix the broken world, mankind dont understand the eternal laws or how reap as sow works, it my job in near future to inform them many will not like what has to be said but it must be said so that at least half of mankind might be saved from what is to come. One thing you said is correct the end times are already underway if they were not I would not be here now. When the world war comes in near future many will be seeking help it will not be a easy time money will lose it value and food and water will become the most precious resource. The war to come is only the beginning of the end the tribulation to follow shall come swiftly.

Pretty much read all of the first post and I gotta say were coming from similar positions. I'm D2 vet aswell and I miss the glory days, I just curse the fact that it took me this long to find this holy grail. To everyone whos playing, enjoy every second of it for the rest of us why don't cha? :P

But on a more serious note, it's all true. Blizzard is ruining what great franchises they had. People like to say it's just business but since when is good business dissapointing your most faithful clients?

There it is explained why they did use "cartoon-like graphics over-bright washed out colors like a water paint".

I found this presentation to be completely wrong in every explanation.... from the points he makes about blizzards (original) art philosophy with Diablo to his explanation of their answer to "what makes diablo- diablo"... it's all wrong.

I did like his commentary about color progression and that for every X amount of time it's critical that the zones evoke the sense that you are in a new interesting area.

I also liked his general commentary about making art for games... just not for Diablo :P

Diablo himself looks terrible out of the game... I wonder what it looks like in the game.
