Well i played D3 beta for 1 week rented it ,and PoE for 2 days,i like D3 way more than PoE, i think this game is not hard and i think is not balanced lol you need to hit every 2 sec the potion even if you gave over 1000 armor. But it doesn't matter you like what you like, for me D3 is better.
How can you say you don't like PoE because it is too easy? Diablo 3 is EXTREMELY easy, much easier than Path of Exile.
You're an idiot.

Actually nevermind, the religious fanatic guy was in another thread. My bad.
Hahaha, seriously though, you'd think D3 promised salvation the way some people are arguing for it. PoE just promises a better game :-)
No actually, I believe D3 is the announcement of the coming of satan. I would have to re-read the good man's posts to find the exact quote though, and I'm too lazy for that.
Oh man I found the posts you were talking about....hilarious!

And what makes you think the rest of the game will be hard?
I've played about 4 hours of PoE and 10 hours of Diablo 3, so far PoE is much more difficult.
That is not saying much, but still.
Go be dumb somewhere else.

Sheer luck or maybe a little honesty saw me get a key rather quickly so I got to try it out. I was *immediately* thrown back, not to Diablo 2, but Diablo 1. Path of Exile achieves what even Diablo 2 couldn't.

Thank you for putting into words what I tried to express on the general chat channel during the week-end stress test.
PoE is more than a Diablo 2 clone, or a competitor to Diablo 3. It's better than both. It takes all the atmosphere and panic that made Diablo 1 so resonant to me as a teen-ager, and extracts all the fun, relevant improvements from Diablo 2, and other games.
But again, PoE is more than 'Diablo done right' (although that would be enough). They've somehow made this game their own... Again, I find this hard to express but:
Suddenly, I'm reading quest dialogue for the first time in ages (and not out of obligation, but because I'm genuinely enthralled); I'm looking at details in the art, and watching the character videos - trying to piece together the lore of this enigmatic world. I want to know more. I want to explore, and find out about the Cataclysm (that they so wisely leave a mystery in-game).
I want to get lost in Wraeclast. And, heh, once I do my budget for the month, I'm looking forward to contributing to this wonderful experience, for myself and for the exiles afore and to come.

You're an idiot.
They've stated time and time again that normal is just for beginners who need to learn how the game works, without being punished or frustrated. And again, you've only seen 1/3 of act 1 (the easiest act) of normal.
They've also said that hell will be very difficult, and that inferno will take people weeks upon weeks to actually get through.

The silence is your answer.''

Actually, the developers are supposedly taking bets on how many months it will take the first person to get through Inferno, according to Bashiok.
