You don't have access to all the skills, your characters reach a max level of 14, there was only 1 unique item in the game that was taken out, there's no customization, you can't fully utilize the Auction House. Seriously. What kind of testing in Diablo 3 required a lot of time? I did it for 3 hours for all the heroes and stopped. The beta test for Diablo 3 is just for the hardware. Actually I would say it is more like judging a book by it's first chapter. You can't even explain what a lot of testing of the very, very, very limited Diablo 3 beta is and how you extracted enough information from a very, very, very limited test to make you hate the game so much. Heck, even Lovecraft's Necronomicon has some really boring introductions. Most George Orwell books start off as pretty basic as well. They ramp up much better. Now you are judging a book by it's cover, I have bookshelves of books I've read. I read quite a lot actually. Certainly a good book doesn't give away it's ending in the beginning , but you can get a real for it is going to be a good book. Basically, you prefer early gameplay, and the fact you can't build what you want in D3 right away was the problem (because skills and runes unlock as you level up). I'm not trying to be a douche, but you said you weren't going to try out diablo 3 because games cost a 100$ in australia, and then you pay 1000 dollars for path of exile.
