Also, the hotkey for potions is Q. I don't know who said that it was automatic, but he got his information wrong.

It is automatic. Try it. Let yourself be hit and notice how at about 30% health your character suddenly says "My wounds are lessened", your health orb refreshes, and the cooldown of your potion is triggered.

edit: Though you can also quaff them manually by pressing Q, to be sure. And afaik, that automatism is gone in higher difficulties.

Erm, potions are definately NOT automatic; perhaps you walked over a health orb?

Also if you have templar follower, he will cast his heal when you go under 50% life, if you choose his heal skill.

Similar to like "i will not play a asianised game anymore"( graphically like Lineage,...).
That opinion established very early, best to say when they released the sorcress-trailer.

errr one asian character suddenly makes the game "asianised"???? Seriously? lol, nothing in the actual environment artwork nor the typical "asian" big eyed character modelling exists in the game, and the weapons are rather normal sized for the most part... Didn't know one ethnic character made the whole game suddenly culturized

This guy joined today just to spam D3 threads on every board. Sounds very fishy to me.

Hmm I haven't noticed that before. I thought he only said that when you pick up a health orb. You could be right though, I'll check it out later.

Just had time to test, and it seems my assessment was false: No automatic potion quaffing.

Just created a fresh character and had him beaten by the first mobs (d'you know how hard it is to die to them? They just shuffle around and attack maybe once every ten seconds). Turns out that the heal I perceived came from health orbs directly dropping on my character, not from some automatic use of potions.

The three (!) times I had thought to be indicative of automatic potion use must have worked like this: I was swarmed, picked up a health orb by defeating a mob near me, and slightly later, pressed q (thus triggering the cooldown), and noticed my health being already full.

Similar like you tell your friend "hey check out this new mmo" and he just engages "uh it looks like a asia grinder" , i´ll keep it short and just say "im not going to take the whole demonslaying business serious if it looks to much cartony in combination with the sound.

When I started playing my barbarian, I was sorely tempted to yell "This... is my BOOMSTICK!" whenever my Bash catapulted a zombie across the screen.

This was the first big immersion breaker for me in D3. Hit zombie with small axe, zombie flies offscreen... Made no sense for me, i snorted loudly at that. Cleave felt a bit better but still most hits felt like explosions.

Or anything killed by a chandelier. After dying, they fly higher than the effing camera. Seems there really is no ceiling in those dungeons. Kinda weird since they are, you know, underground.
