Time Capsule from PoE Closed Beta -- a classic PoE vs D3 thread circa 2012

I tried it out and played a wizard first. Her voice acting sounds like a snob and I just wanted to tell her to SHUT UP ALREADY!!!. seriously very annoying. Also the massacre messages, who cares. and the health globe part felt like an insult to intelligence to the players to me. I played first on single player which is much harder then multi-player due to those annoying cooldowns. I tied a bit of Demon Hunter (crossbows DO NOT sound like shotguns I'm sorry). The animations for the spells are cool. Trying out the witchdoctor now. That firebat skill is hilarious XD

Game play is fine, but I don't feel this game is worth the $60 they are charging for it.. maybe $20 but not $60.

Oh and one thing I really hate is you only start with 2 lines of inventory space and it costs you 10k gold to buy every 2 lines extra.

Also the female armours in Diablo III look skimpy,, as in bikini top kind of skimpy, it just looks bad. and if you place armour in your stash to access as another class suddenly it's a different piece for a different class... I can't put plate on my wizard like I can do a with a witch in PoE if I wanted to.

The armor thing was the same in diablo 2 though. They've just refined it now.

It is automatic. Try it. Let yourself be hit and notice how at about 30% health your character suddenly says "My wounds are lessened", your health orb refreshes, and the cooldown of your potion is triggered.

edit: Though you can also quaff them manually by pressing Q, to be sure. And afaik, that automatism is gone in higher difficulties.

@Disillusioned: No, I was what you'd call a more...detailed rper. I was even more arrogant there than here, oh by far. I might have left for IRC by the time you got there. A lot of the 'dueling' Rpers were...friends, I suppose. Anyway, sooner or later I realised that my RP was just writing with other people getting in the way, so I quit and tried the real thing.

...Yes, RP in chat channels eventually led me to getting a PhD in English and an unpublished manuscript or two. Go figure. ;)

Hmm I haven't noticed that before. I thought he only said that when you pick up a health orb. You could be right though, I'll check it out later.

the character models yes, but your actually armour was not. the armour pieces that you equip look like bikini top kind of stuff for the female models.
