Play hell with low lvl character with good item, and tell me that again. Lvl doesn't mean anything.

and you have done that and you know it?
no one wants to play a bad balanced game and no one knows if a game is bad without ever played it, if D3 has problems the diablo fans will be the first to point it, but making all this statements that you making without ever actualy played hell or inferno is at least pathetic.

Im talking about d2. If mobs where higher level than you, it didnt mean it was hard if you had good items.

There's a difference between "level doesn't mean anything," and, "not as hard"

For example, in D2, you can make up for level difference using weapons and gear with high hit rating. But without that, its "whiff whiff whiff, wtf why can't I land a hit?"

Traditionally higher level = higher resists, harder to hit, easier to get hit by; however, its only speculation at this point with how it will work for d3's end game.
I just hope that when you have best items that inferno would not be still easy, as it was in d2 hell. Lvl differences of monsters doesn't mean it will be harder that much.

It gives you a good indication.
Just look at WoW, a monster 5 levels higher than you will F you up. And that's just a casual quest monster not designed to be hard.

Im not looking at wow, but d2. In d2 if monster where higher level than you, and you had good items, it would be still easy. I hope that will not hapen also to d3 inferno.

I already said, that's because items are retardedly OP in diablo 2.
In D3 both skills and items will have a greater emphasis on balance than in D2.

Back before Cata I was killing lvl 80 people outside Stormwind with my lvl 65 feral druid. I was a bit famous for that.
If I'd ever got a chance to make a game, it would definitively not cater to the players that want the game to change instead of themselves improving in it.

Humm well no offense to you, but those people must've been pretty damn retarded. The sheer crit chance reduction / increase alone.. dear god.

This is also largely in part to the fact that you could chaindrink potions, so being lower level typically just meant you had to restock pots more often.

D3 you'll have to rely on killing monsters for health globes, which makes it a bit trickier since pots have a cooldown.

Either way, its rather silly to claim it will be too easy before anyone has played it.

Or realy hard. =P

Edit: Now that there are no potions I think the game will be much easier than before. Monster cant do that much dmg because you can't use potions whenever you want. Will see if (how) blizZ fix this problem

Not entirely.
Blizzard knows the endgame, and what items will be available there. They have no doubt done a ton of internal tests with themselves and other people.
If they say it's going to be hard, it's going to be hard.

Again, I was surprised to hear about them betting over how many months it would take the first person to beat inferno.
I actually believe it will take the first person several months of 'reasonable playtime' to complete it.

(I say 'reasonable playtime' because there will be people that are going to play 12+ hours a day for several weeks at D3's launch, so they will obviously complete the game a lot faster than most people.)
