Fix the game
" And? are we all streamers? no. They also flock to SSFHC because it sells better. But i digress. You seem to want a game already in Existence. It's called D3. You wanr a game where casuals can clear everything. So nobody cares about it. ther intended hardcore ladder greater rifts is the only progress available. And wonder over wonder, no casual cares about the game anymore, even when they could clear it quite fast. The same would happen here. After reading throuh all you whiny posts it seems you don't like to grind. Thats okay, but then answer me one question: why do you even play ARPGs? edit: " strange, i work full time and have a social life. Still i was able to clear the game.... hmm. " no that would be -90 items dropping. Peace, -Boem- edit : " This is a result of the game already catering to casuals in the current game state to a high degree. So rejoice, you already got what your asking for, anybody that played this game for over five years can tell you that much. And pushing a char to lvl 100(which is usually what they do in a week's time) is not the same as perfecting a build, which they usually do after the lvl 100 push. You don't need anything in the current game state to get to lvl 100 or push high-tier content if your familiar with the game and it's mechanics.(result of power-creep and casualization if that's a word) Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes Last edited by Boem on Aug 27, 2018, 10:19:17 AM

1000% less is 9 times less drop (100% less is 2 times less drop, 200% is 3 times less drop etc). Peace learn math

" Yes he's talking about the math. You know how taking 50% off an item's price makes it half price? And 90% off is dirt cheap? 100% off would make it completely free. Now what happens if you take 1000% off? You're probably thinking of the inverse of droprate. Let's call it rarity. If the droprate of an item is 10%, we can also write it as the fraction 1/10. The item's rarity would then be 10. If we increase the rarity by 1000% it's now 110, making the new droprate 1/110 or 0.9%. |

-Reduce loot by 1000% and make drops worth picking up (stop stash scam, make your $ somewhere else) : Stop picking up and saving things that are not worth picking up, obvious.
-Either make AH like every game since the stone age, or go for solutions like D3. Whoever gave BS reason not to is brain damaged. 'too convenient' is the most retarded reason I have ever heard, games are meant for fun not chores. : This makes gearing and progression even more trivial than it already is. -Talking about chores, most of the content is not accessible for casual players. Other than needing to study the game on youtube for 2h/ day to understand how stuff works (please send us certificates so we feel better), the fact that high end content is made to be such a massive grind to even reach is ridiculous. What's the point of making cool content when only streamers and welfare warriors can reach it? : You are correct it is a complex game, but once you understand its mechanics none of that content is very hard to access. This argument may have been true years ago when maps were an exalt each, but it no longer applies. -Make maps/ delves/ any other end game unlock-able, once unlocked, you should be able to just random roll and play it without the need to farm low level feces to farm up enough to get to play a high tier again. Maps cost very little and pretty much always pay for themselves, this is essentially how it is already. I know that a lot of epeen heroes will not like this. Make a league called casual/ fun that has all convenient things, and leave the punishing grind to people who like it in other leagues. : Being insulting because you cant be bothered to learn how to play the game well is unfortunate. Making a league where you can get everything very easily will be boring. Basically all these points are the direction D3 went, and its a bland boring game to many poe players. That being said, it seems to be exactly what you are looking for. HAIL SATAN! Last edited by tramshed on Aug 27, 2018, 10:28:42 AM

" Funnily enough, ARPGs actually have a very tenuous connection to actual role-playing. It's more like you're just spectating the story than playing an actual role in it. People just conflate developing a character's power through numerical attributes with role-playing. |

" To add to this, they have a direct connection to roguelikes, which are extremely grindy. The original Diablo was directly inspired by Moria. The title ARPG was applied well after these games existed, it at no point ever defined what they were. HAIL SATAN! Last edited by tramshed on Aug 27, 2018, 10:32:07 AM
