3440x1440 is only 60% of full 3840x2160.

so now let's talk about the costs

monitor + CPU + GPU = 2000$??

Before Global Illumination, 4K wouldn't really be a problem. But now it definitely is. GI basically halves my framerate from 130 to 65. That's at 1080p with a slightly downclocked GTX 1060. I have around 100 fps with my 1070.

Only bad games need 4k to be told as good graphics.

Poe has abysmal character models, lots of prefabs and effect that HIDE all that on purpose.

Its for the same exact reason mmorps covers screen with damage floating numbers, party and chat overlays and cover as much screen as possible with trash to hide the hideous game.

Poe looks 5times better than endgame poe.. but poe leveling looks like 10year old game nontheless.

this 4k poe idea is really turning me on can someone here playing on 4k post screen shots and say how it's compared to 1k

4K thing is nothing like it should have been. Yes, it does look better, but quite frankly you wouldn´t expect it to look other then better of course.
But people babbling about this 4K thing is true 4K quality and bla bla doesn´t know what they are even talking about. Truth is, none of the Televisions/Screens that are sold today or even out on the market is able to truly, really handle 4K pictures.

You won´t see true Screens handling 4K properly as it should until a 5 to 10 years time. And by that time there is something else around and "better" already.

I play in 4k on a 7 gen k i7 along with 2*1080gtx.
The game looks wonderful and the 60 fps at max details are constant.
I play solo, don't know if it could hold in party game.
I play this config since 1 year and it changed Poe for me. Everything is so detailed and thin
