Nerfing XP grinding again 95-100?

You're totally right. No real challenge on 100 here in this game. Maybe they should nerf it even more!

23 challenges in Harbinguer league and highest character on HC level 85, you looks like a real developer that actually don't play this game. You can ask GGG a job already.

I think the mistake ur making is presuming the other 99,999 players were supposed to get to lvl100.

I think the others 99,999 players should have a chance to get a 100 if they really want it, even being casual and grinding the whole league ( 3 months ) to do it.

What you're not understanding, maybe cause u never got a 100 character, is: the way it is now is designed really for only few streamers to do the lvl 100 job. They removed the level 100 character chance from 99,999 players. Simple like that.

One day, when you start to grind from 98 to 99 and from 99 to 100 you'll understand what I'm talking about. If you never done it before and never will, then this thread isn't for you. You'll never understand what I'm saying here.

It only takes max 200 hours to hit 100 even if you are slow as fuck. Pretty sure all of you played more then 200 hours on this game meaning all of you should have at least one level 100 character. If you actually go for 100 its too fucking easy. This is a great nerf but would have like to see sextant's and poorjoy's nerfed instead.

and the design goal of lvl100 was that it would take a player about 1 year to reach it. So ya, ssf hardcore that hardly anyone plays and theres 23 lvl100 players. How many people actually tried to reach it in that league, didnt die but couldnt make it happen because of the amount of time it takes?

That you had to reach for hardcore ssf to try and make the point says it all. You think the game is balanced around hardcore ssf?

You talk as if people are supposed to be hitting lvl100. Its supposed to be impossible for almost everyone, so the only people who matter in terms of how quickly it can be achieved are the ladder racers who no life the game.
The problem is that before you could achieve 100 with a "resonable" amount of hours, playing solo without doing beacheads rotations all day. It would take a shitload of time, but somewhat possible. Now they are nerfing the exp based on the top 0,1% of the players who play all day every single day in groups and doing the same shit map layout over and over because it's the best one for xp. Just as OP said, only 23 people got 100 in ssf hc, that means they are balacing the gameplay of their entire player base for 0,1% of playerss. I would agree that change in mayhem/tumoril races but in normal leagues? Simply bullshit.

I think I understand just fine mate, Im not sure you understand what they intend level 100s place in the game to be though.

100 is the last challenge before league end? Forgive me, but incrementing the number from 95 to 96 and so on has always seemed like a silly end or "reward" to all that extra playtime and investment. It's like getting first place in a marathon in order to get a slightly-larger-than-average sandwich at the end.

Seems to me like the journey itself is more important and interesting than the goal, so why not focus on the journey instead? Have some fun screwing around with different builds or rolling crazy maps. Craft that perfect mirror-worthy item. Play that one skill or use that one unique that you've always wanted to try but were hesitant on.

what, back when it used it take 10x longer to hit lvl100 than it does now? Which before are we talking about exactly? Just before they nerfed it right now or before that when they then buffed it over and over and over and over and over again until their entire design for leveling became completely fucked?
reaching level 100 should not be possible in 1 or 2 weeks. Even for the casual player thats possible at the moment.
