I don't know anything about reddit but i hope GGG keeps nerfing things that do too much damage. Alongside that, i hope they buff some defenses so that we get to make some actual choices when building a character, instead of going all out on damage.
Not holding my breath though. ;P

Reddit is quite literally designed (through the upvote/downvote system) to silence unpopular opinion that may in fact turn out to be valid. I'd encourage everyone to read through John Stuart Mill's essay "On Liberty" for an enlightening philosophical discussion on freedom of expression and opinion. Because unpopular but possibly valid opinions can be drowned out by "downvotes", especially in game subreddits that are too often free marketing/PR for game companies, it is seen by many as a highly inappropriate forum for GGG to be using as their primary source of interaction with the community. Others have already given pretty convincing evidence that this is happening so no need to reiterate.
You say this thread shouldn't exist, but at least here yours and others' "downvotes" cannot silence the constructive and well-thought out opinion that should be able to be expressed and seen by the devs. On reddit that would be a different story, and that's the point.

Reddit does not need brute force censorship when it is all can be hidden under a rug. Unless you are paranoid and check if all your post/threads are visible to other people. But even if you find that you've been shadowbanned... guess what will happen to your complains?

Another good example is the current thread on the frontpage about boss life. The blood-hungry redditors were praising it and now that people actually got to experience it they start to complain about it.
