Gave up on the game, i cant play on ping this high, get out of sync every time.
Ironic to have a Brasil flag on the site, game translation and no server.

Finally, changing the service provider because they did not fix an issue in a few days is non-practical in many situations. There are contracts in place, most of them (if not all) have an SLA, if that has been met by the end of the month, there will be fines if GGG decides to cancel. It is not the same as if you rage quit on your ISP and change to another one. It takes time and a lot of effort.
If you wanna drink GGG's kool-aid that's okay man but don't spread misinfo here. This is a business enviroment, how many millions per sec do you think a gaming company loses with offline servers?
LATAM market is probably so small that GGG doesn't see the need to take any drastic measure to put the server back online. To GGG it's more cost-effective to keep a shitty, faulty, congestioned gateway like SP online rather than opening a new one.

I wonder what would happen if Washington and Texas servers suddenly crash and how fast the technical team would respond.
It would be fixed immediately.

If this problem was on the US servers like Washington, Texas, etc... Or Europe servers... It would be fixed inmediately because they have Streamers and a lot of people playing the game... And there's where they get a lot of money and have most of the players.
What I mean with " They care because they have Streamers "? Well... Look at RaizQT, Zizaran, ZiggyD, chistor, nugiyen or other streamers that have around 600-3500 viewers per day playing Path of Exile... Imagine them having problem with the servers... The viewers would realize that the server sucks when they try to play as well, start a forum or reddit thread saying the server sucks and they don't want to play the game until it's fixed. If you see PoE Latin American Streamers as much they have between 20-60 viewers...
They don't really care about Latin American players of PoE because we are the 3-5% of the base player of the game or maybe less.
They don't care if they lose a little base player. Most of Latin American can't afford to pay supporter packs or even donate 10 dollars.
This problem with Sao Paulo Gateway as been around 1 year and didn't get fixed yet... If this problem was on Washington or Texas or Europe it would last 1 day as much.
GGG is not a small indie company anymore... If they care about Latin American players this would be fixed as soon as possible, something that never happened before.

The right thing to say is that the service provider here in Brazil is unwilling. This, in addition to the fact that it occurred in a holiday + weekend, GGG is not getting a response from the server in São Paulo, since the Flitz has already contacted both parties where the problem could occur and only the Brazilian party did not return the contact.
The most certain thing would be to wait until Monday to have a concrete answer on the subject.

They want a second server dude.
This way people far away from Sao Paulo get better ping and we get a backup server if Sâo Paulo decides do fuck us again.

you doofus, this is a problem related specifically to brazilian ISP(s). Moving it out of Sao Paulo would fix most of it.
THAT SAID, it's quite the effort to move servers. Still, shut the gateway for good, it's quite the insult to have such a bad realm for South America.
