Straw poll: do you like the lab? [UPDATED W. RESULT]

I hope GGG will make labs twice shorter and reduce Izaro damage.
But worst is Labyrinth ladder and prize system! Why not make first 150 get random prize, like beta key events works (get 20 lvl and random player will get key).

Because in the end it'll change nothing, it'll still be the same flaskfinder build occupying all first 150 places. Win criteria should change for that "competition" to become competitive.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
I feel like this question is inherently flawed. When asked if I like the lab, I would tentatively say yes because it can be pretty nice depending on the run. However, if you also asked me if the lab could be improved, I would also say yes.

I would say I am okay with the lab in current form, but that doesn't mean I fully like it either.

I would ask for a third category saying yes, but it could be improved.

Otherwise, maybe change the question to "Do you hate the lab?"

Not going to get a heavy ass anti lab bias at all. No sir :)

That, so much. This is why GGG is saying that Lab haters are vocal minority. It may seem that ~70% of people hate Lab from the strawpoll, but at the same time there is less than 100 people voting.
Meanwhile there are (on average) 10000 people playing at the very end of the league. We're talking less than 1% of people currently playing... And may I remind you that league is dead?
We're not even talking active players in general (I'm not playing the game currently, because league is about to end, but I'm still an active player).

Lets face it - there will always be people on the left side of the Gaussian Curve. Average seems to be fine with people. There are few who absolutely love it, and those who absolutely hate it.

I went to college for a psych degree. Now that I have a job in the field I never expected years of classes would feel to have better prepped me to get irate with people using research methods and statistics wrong on online game forums :I. I mean it takes literally five minutes to come up with a poll that would either eliminate or at least control for a huge chunk of biases/outlier repsonses. Instead OP goes and links to this thread in another thread titled "what do you hate about the lab."

Now the poll is doubly worthless. Waiting for it to go triple.

Haha, these things are hard. I think no matter how I phrase the question Someone will complain.

I dont see an issue with the wording. I wanted to force a binary response for this poll. You can interpret it as a minor change is needed, or a larger one. Determining that will be for a later poll, for someone else to do.

119 votes now, and not at all only 'no' answers as some would claim

The thread is right there to see on the forums, and if you have read it you know very well it's far from only anti-lab rhetoric

You guys need to take a chill pill.

While it's definitely true that complainers are going to be more highly represented, your 10,000 people playing is irrelevant to your 100 people voting point. In that only a very small percentage of the player base, I'll guess somewhere from a fraction of a percent to less than 2% of the player base even posts in this forum.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
And many just come here just because they do not like something in the game.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
This is why GGG saying that Lab haters are vocal minority is correct. Those who come here and say they like the Lab are also vocal minority. But GGG has stats (what kind, hard to tell) that suggests that most people actually have no problem with the Lab.
Topics like this one, which seemingly are trying to convince us otherwise, are just silly.

Add that most posts (that are already minority) are mostly emotionally driven rants which sole purpose is to vent the anger, and there you have the reason why GGG is so slow about changing about the Lab (assuming they even want to change anything).
Not saying that there are no good suggestions and I'd honestly would love to see some changes too.
