In other words: Any results are good results even if we make no effort to account forand or acknowledge bias?
No, your strawpoll results are meaningless for GGG sorry to say. "It's all clearer now

" xMustard, thank you for voicing your valuable opinion on the unliked labyrinth. I've added your name to the list of people that have voiced a similar opinion at 894. As the list grows longer our voice grows stronger. Over 330 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 890 posters in support Here's xMustard's summary profile. Then to add insult to injury, GGG made it mandatory to run all characters through it and you can't exit or die or you have to do the whole pathetic content all over again. Also note that xMustard has been a long time player and frequent poster to the forums. This shows that many people dislike this bad content but have not yet spoken their minds on the forums about it. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

"And GGG can look and see how many of these supporter packs were purchased with the labyrinth being in the game and see that there is no need to change the lab when they can keep making new content and get paid for it. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

"Those running GGG are unlikely to be naive enough to believe what you're suggesting here. It's more likely that GGG realizes (or will realize) that a lot of players don't enjoy lab, including quite a few who have lots of supporter titles. They're smart enough to realize that, over the longer run, irritating content will lead to fewer alts, a lower retention rate for existing players, and lower levels of financial support. Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes? There is a poll thread with lotsa votes: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1665217/page/1
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

"I think Shovelcut has already demonstrated that any positive vote in that poll automatically gets countered with negative votes so it can hardly be considered a scientific poll. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

"How longer of a run are you talking about? The game continues to grow and supporter packs continue to be purchased and the lab has been in the game for the last year and 3 months. Which is what, a full third of the game's lifetime and counting? The game won't last forever to be sure. But it's not the inclusion of the lab that will kill it. "Your reply is akin to the fallacy of the false dilemma because there's no good reason to believe that either lab kills POE or it doesn't. A much more likely scenario is that lab puts a damper on the rate of growth, decreases the length of time growth is sustained, and increase the downward slope of POE's slide toward no longer existing, alongside a number of other factors that have similar (or opposite) effects. Lab also undermines the likelihood of GGG being trusted by quite a few players for any follow-up game they might publish because they went totally "off the reservation" by inserting a platform mini-game with long trap gauntlets into an ARPG and by making running a maze over and over a core part of character development. Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?
