Grimdawn vs poe ? ( tying to find " tha game " )

You know Grimdawn is good enough to play between POE sessions. Yes, I like when unique items dropped as well. And it happens in Grimdawn more often then in POE. But in Grimdawn endgame you wont find what you do else )

grimdawn is poe's girlfriend from high school. poe is a doctor now. thats all i am saying
poe wins no doubt about it x'D amount of content poe can't be beaten same counts for build diversity xd

grim dawn doesn't have leagues, multiplayer aspect sucks, no guild as far i know, less items, less content, less frequint updates, less diversity. still alright to play tho from time to time i give u that :p oh and poe is free xd

PoE is shit for sure compared to grim dawn. Finding your uniques upgrading your gear feels good and it has a lot of depth. Poe is a big baloon gathering fishes to buy their mtxs. All things revolve around mtx selling; drop rates, builds, nerfs, buffs, passive tree.
What do MTX have to do with passive trees?

Grim Dawn was fun for a playthrough or two. I didnt get past 100 hours of game play and bought it at release. It's fine. PoE is superior.
Grim dawn is a fine game but lacks the depth of poe, its also slower paced
I dont see any any key!
Grim Dawn is a very recommended game and a must have for any ARPG fan.

However, I see that title not as a main ARPG. I mean, you can finish it, may another character, farm a bit and thats it. There is not proper multi, trading, and even playing alone its not that good to be the main ARPG.

SO my opinion is to play PoE as a real main ARPG game, and between leagues or whenever a league doesnt fit you, play Grim Dawn at least one time if you didnt. Better alone btw.

2easy.

My first char, Battlemage, SC, reached the end of Ultimate after 3 days playing time. 60k DPS on Aetherbeam + Devastation with Elemental Seeker.

My second char, was kinda fail. DW Pistolero.

My third char was then my first HC. Beated Ultimate after 2 days with a Soldier and Force Wave (25k) and like 13k HP with max'd res and still unoptimzied gear.

Pros:
- Solid game
- Story
- Bastion of Chaos, super nice Atmosphere, dark and feels every step dangerous
- That secret hunting is awesome
- Devotion tree is awesome (even tho, too small and too limited)
- The hunt for devotion shrines (They giving you the Devotion points)
- Level scaling of mobs
- Fraction mechanic is in general a very good thing, but they need to tune it
- Legacy item crafter (An NPC that let you craft Legacy Items)

cons:
- Piss easy, after you acquired a certain amount of experience
- Burst and instant leech (I think they nerfed Haunted Steel now..)
- Skills are shit and in a lot of case, your main skill has different kinds of damage, which makes it absurd to scale
- Off Ability/Defence A sucks ballz. (Chance to hit, Chance to evade, Chance to crit)
- Classes have limited skills, you essentially picking 1 skill and your second class is just there for the buffs.
- Augment system is shit (imo)
- Sets are BiS in 90% of cases

.. thats it roughly from my perspective. Is it worth the 25 Bucks ?

Yep. But dont expect to grind there for 1k hours, its not gonna happen.

As an bonus advice: Dont play a caster at your first playthrough^^

Welcome to the greatest of arenas, Duelist. God is watching you.
