[2.4] CI/LL Blade Vortex Pathfinder

Because BV caps at 20 blades, once at the cap, the negative damage on SE is outperformed by the lack of negative damage of faster cast. All the cast speed won't make more then 20 blades.

Also, you do have what feels like a longer casting animation.

On that note: i don't do high level content that much, and my BV guy is only 59 and use spell echo for keeping stacks while being mobile.
Spell Echo isn't fully losing the damage decrease. 10% LESS =/= 10% increased. It's just wrong. (Edit: 10% MORE would be right, but it isn't more)

Yes, Spell Echo has better buildup and if we're talking about a target that dies fast enough you're right, but if it comes to stronger bosses that survive atleast 30 seconds you're gonna deal more damage with FC. It's not hard to reach 20 stacks, it's actually really easy.

I mean, look at how BV Pathfinders do Shaper. They just stand there, tanking everything he throws at them, keeping up 20 stacks. We're talking about 10% LESS damage. That's not that negligible if you ask me and the choice between FC and SE comes down to what kind of content you do. Maybe it's wrong to recommend FC in a build guide as most people won't really benefit from it compared to SE, but when it comes to high tier map bosses (15+) FC outperforms SE without a doubt.

And when it comes to constructive feedback. I don't have a problem with what you're saying or suggesting, but with how you're saying it. Try to come off as less arrogant, that's all.

Man, it's really hard to take any of this guide seriously having faster casting suggested over spell echo.

I don't know why you felt the need to compensate, but I'll change it if you make a good point about it. Currently 92, doing T16s and I still haven't felt the need for it. SE might be a superior choice if you aren't using 2020s, but I dont see any benefits if you do. Things have changed.

question on crafting a better dagger is it better to use anguish for the spell damage or scorn for the crit?

also is like 1-44 cold damage to spells or something similar good on the wep as well

is it right to think the pefect dagger is spell damage/spell crit/damage to spells and then craft attack speed like this one

Spell Damage is better but more expensive. Crafting with Shrieking Woe is a moneysink. Perfect dagger would be Spelldmg+Spelldmg/Mana(Hybrid)+Spellcrit+Attackspeed+Critmulti. You can also craft with Misery but hitting Spelldmg+Spellcrit with that is unlikely.

Why are you crafting with a Gutting Knife btw?

oh no I'm crafting with 84 plat kris that dagger is what I'm using cause havnt seen/ found anything better
also you think crit multi out performs damage to spells? dps wise

Do you have a skill tree for the level 70ish swap with the nodes you need to swap into first all please?

Probably something like this to get over that 200% ES mark.

You can drop the jewel slots if you don't have %ES jewels, but they really help. Thought about dropping some other things as well, but it really depends on the gear you're having.

I died at lvl 57 :(

Merc brutus did me a two shot (with stun) combo and I died instantly =((((

Stats: 2,9k hp & 957 ES

Probably i'll try this build again...
What's everyone thought about this build?
So far I've played Bogok's MoM Pathfinder BV and thought I'd switch to LL BV but don't want to do it if the build isn't as strong. (I have about 11ex worth to spend on gear. I already have the flasks)
^

Same here, curious as well.

If you looked at the top 50 pathfinders in both ESC and EHC, you will probly find the answer. But at the end of the day, it's still up to yr playing style.

Got lazy and decided to test cwdt + pcoc and also a self cast version with both it feels quite good.
