I'd say so. I think all 3 choices are alright, though.

I think it's really hard to nerf BV without destroying it so I guess we won't be able to play it next league as I'm certain it will be nerfed. Either do it now or never, I guess.

This is one of the reasons I made a pathfinder BV char - jump on the bandwagon before GGG burns it and scatters the ashes to the wind =)
I just hit the lottery and had a shavs drop...now the tough choice

sell it and buy Vinktars and ToH, or keep it and wear it?

You won't be able to go LL without having good enough gear. Either sell or keep it in stash.
What do you think about using the new Valyrium ring as a way to deal with Stuns (instead of Chayula), and in the freed up amulet slot to run Lazhwar and thus build a 75/75 block setup? Drop a Rathpith or that block Jewel if more block is needed - I haven't bothered to check the numbers, I just know for sure that doing 75/75 will be very easy in this setup, it'll even be cheap currency wise versus current prices.

In theory it sounds straight up overpowered to me: extremely high ES, a very strong leeching mechanism, and insanely good avoidance with 75/75 block, as well as very good mitigation against ALL sources of damage in the game thanks to the flask shenanigans (the extra resists, armor, etc). That sounds like the best defense layer I've ever heard of, on paper. It has everything.

Not being able to get block capped easily with CI was an issue with a CI build I did in the past, and that ring just makes the dream possible...

once again I'm set with gear but yet cant make currency for the life of me happens every league I sit here after 2 weeks not knowing what to do

farm atziri's /uber labs never get any good drops
farm propechys- seems no one buys them
farm maps never get any high tier maps to progress I really dunno what the hell to farm to make tons of currency and it sucks

I play like 8-10 hours and I wish someone would suggest what I should farm

also do you think its good to unlock every map on the atlas?

You have some good points. This sounds really, really good. I just don't know how reliable Valyrium is. It looks good, but is it? Also, we would sacrifice 2 instead of one slot, making it harder to cap res. Since we use a lot of rares as CI it doesn't sound too bad at first, but getting high ES + good or even decent Res is expensive compared to just ES.

The thing about Valyrium is that it just makes stuns based on ES, but it's not really like we're getting LL with all the leech we have and even if we should get stunned we'd still deal damage as our BV keeps dealing damage. I don't know.

I don't have the currency to test it out at the moment, but I will at some point. If you're going to do it I'd be very interested in how it goes/went. :)

Yes it is good as it improves the +1/+2 map drop rate.

I don't really know what to tell you. I think uber lab is the most reliable source of currency, but ilvl80+ maps have the potential to have really high spikes of potential income. I guess you just have to hold on and wait. Good drops are going to happen.
Everyone (I know?) has these phases of denial, anger and sadness when it comes to drops and RNG in general, but it's mostly just a way of thinking. You ARE making currency and you ARE going to make progress, you just aren't really looking at it right / are expecting too much. Everyone wants that one Skyforth chance or that one Void card that's gonna give you a HH or that one Shavs drop, but you shouldn't expect that.
I mean, I made like.. 30-40ex? in the past 2 weeks playing solo. The highest I've sold something was for 3ex. I have multiple items worth 1-4ex laying around in my stash that aren't selling, but I'm still making currency. My Shavs doesn't 6l altough I've already spend 1150 fusings (19 5l, 2 reverse) but I see that as part of the progress. It's just a slow climb, but you are gonna get there.
You must "exploit" game for sure. For example farm uber lab with guaranteed unique chest. You have ~20 % chance to get death door boots. My friend got 10 boots in 1 day. I found another method of farming 10ex/day.

Yeah, will do. Just started the league yesterday so it'll take some days, but I'll post once I get it all :P

As for this currency farming conversation... My only advice is this: just play the game. The whole "point" of these games are just continuous, non-stop grinding, and it's your ability to consistently do good/efficient decisions in that environment that is being tested. Minimize your downtime - every minute you spend theorycrafting or deciding what to do is a 'wasted' minute because you could've been doing something in it instead. That's the whole beauty of ARPGS (and rogue-likes) - you gotta do everything "on the way". Embrace it!

Just do whatever is efficient for you right now, and keep doing it. There's no trick or exploit other than that. It might just seem this way when other people are doing what's efficient for them and their chars and it seems overly too profitable relatively to where you are. But keep going and learning the game and you will become one of them.

The only exception to this is currency flipping. That's a whole business segment of its own. If you're a fan of Excel sheets and a lot (A LOT!!!) of clicking and trading, then go ahead. That does, on average, get you rich faster than playing the game will. But it will also take all of your game time to do it.

question on crafting a better dagger is it better to use anguish for the spell damage or scorn for the crit?

also is like 1-44 cold damage to spells or something similar good on the wep as well

is it right to think the pefect dagger is spell damage/spell crit/damage to spells and then craft attack speed like this one
