SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]
We're likely to see something. I'm not as optimistic as you.

" I'm generally an optimistic type person. Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

The Lab is GGG pushing EASY mode on players. Play an Easy mode skill set and the lab becomes easy. Fail to and enjoy the pain.
The ONLY way to change it is to hit them in the pocket book. Refuse monetary support till it gets fixed. I personally refuse to support till this gets dealt with. Do you think they give a rats ass about any opinions in this thread? As long as the masses eat this crap and continue to support it there will be no change... Now go pick one of the classes that breezes through lab and go play. NS |

Here is the kicker for me... I can do alched level 10 maps without issue but cannot get by merc lab... One hit your dead...
Too fing funny... My other char walked through it without issues. Since i'm dead again by a one hit my support stays in my pocket... By the looks of things there it will stay for a while yet to come. NS |

" Hi Nightstone13, I agree with you. I have not donated a penny to GGG since the Labyrinth release. When I was playing, it was very tempting because I wanted that currency tab. If GGG fixes it in 3.0 then I will start playing again as my main gaming focus and then get my currency tab. Thank you for posting your opinion on Labyrinth. I've added you to the list as number 697. Over 280 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 690 posters in support Please note for those believing or on the fence for believing in the silly conspiracy theory that Nightstone13 might be my alt account or one of a small handful of people making up most of the account names on the list of 697 account names, here's Nightstone13's fairly typical profile information. " It might be time to start either : - building a char that isn't a glass canon - stop trying to facetank everything - get mechanically better Note that those are not mutually exclusive of course. " I think that your "enough" is not their "enough". And you sure seem to be an optimistic. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Roughly half of their customers hate the labyrinth AND the out of control speed/aoe/powercreep meta design approach.
GGG knows this to be a fact. Stubborn pride has sunken many a ship. Hopefully, they wise up before it's too late. (I'm not optimistic. Same as my old pal, Fruz) |

Game is doing fine for a venerable game. They probably will keep it path of frogger forever.

" That's some more figure that nobody knows but GGG, not me, not you, only GGG. Unless you have some sources to share about this. And I do think that people being (at least) uncomfortable with traps is deemed necessary by GGG, at least for the Labyrinth. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" You're almost correct. GGG has no idea either. The only thing they truly know about the Labyrinth in this regard is that it is controversial and divisive. Are they OK with that at this point in time? <shrug> Who knows? I consider myself neither an optimist nor pessimist. But I am pragmatic. As much respect as I have for GGG, there are enough severely flawed aspects of this game (e.g., balance-->>snort) that I know better than to assume that "of course they are not OK with a highly controversial and divisive aspect of their game!" Because maybe they are. Wash your hands, Exile!
